After an unideal 2016, which saw back-to-back critical DC failures in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad, it's time for the DC Films Universe to turn over a new leaf with the arrival of their first female-led superhero feature Wonder Woman.
Gal Gadot (Fast Five) stars in the title role as Diana of Themyscira, who will embark on an epic adventure with the first man she's ever met, Steve Trevor, to stop a war that threatens to end all humankind. While she'll undoubtedly be more than prepared for what's to come, it's likely that Ares' still-hidden involvement will throw her for a loop when she learns the truth about what's going on.
Check out two new action-packed TV spots below:
Before she was Wonder Woman, she was Diana, princess of the Amazons, trained to be an unconquerable warrior. Raised on a sheltered island paradise, when an American pilot crashes on their shores and tells of a massive conflict raging in the outside world, Diana leaves her home, convinced she can stop the threat. Fighting alongside man in a war to end all wars, Diana will discover her full powers...and her true destiny.
