X-MEN: DARK PHOENIX Star Jennifer Lawrence Bares More Than Mystique In New Vogue Photoshoot

We're used to seeing Jennifer Lawrence strip off to play Mystique in the X-Men movies but The Hunger Games star takes it all off for Vanity Fair and also reflects on the failings of Passengers...

Like it or not, Jennifer Lawrence will be reprising the role of Mystique in X-Men: Dark Phoenix next year. That probably means we can expect the shape shifting mutant (and leader of the X-Men?) to take on a lead role here but this Vogue photo shoot may at least give you a good reason to be excited about her return. As you can see, the actress takes more off here than when she's painted up as Mystique!

There was sadly no talk of X-Men: Dark Phoenix in her chat with the magazine but Lawrence did reflect on starring in Passengers with Chris Pratt. The movie has faced criticism for the fact that Pratt's character wakes Lawrence's up against her will and she's now reflected
on the negative reviews.

"I’m disappointed in myself that I didn’t spot it," she said. "I thought the script was beautiful —  it was this tainted, complicated love story. It definitely wasn’t a failure. I’m not embarrassed by it by any means. There was just stuff that I wished I’d looked into deeper before jumping on." The movie marked a rare flop for both stars and while Pratt recovered with Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, it remains to be seen if Lawrence can do the same. Mother! is next and X-Men: Dark Phoenix will follow.
