The Wolverine will be directed by James Mangold (Knight and Day), from a script written by Christopher McQuarrie.. The cast includes: Hugh Jackamn (Logan/Wolverine), Svetlana Khodchenkova (Viper), Hiroyuki Sanada (Shingen), Hal Yamanouchi (Yashida), Tao Okamoto (Mariko), Rila Fukushima (Yukio), Brian Tee (Norubo Mori), and Will Yun Lee (Kenuichio Harada/Silver Samurai). The film will claw into theaters July 26, 2013.

I am not excited for this movie at all. I know I'll go see it. I went and saw Ghost Rider... I hope Fox doesn't continue to butcher this franchise.

Well lets see X-Men helped to launch the popularity of the superhero film. X2 is one of the greatest superhero films ever made and X-Men First Class was one of the best films of 2011

why is this set in WW2? that doesn't make any sense. in the first wolverine it was after ww2 when he got the surgery. is he not gonna have adamantium in this movie?

i have a feeling if they go the traditional wolverine colors its gonna be a badass samurai armor or something-

SUPERMAN2013: Superman has a June 14 release date, while Wolverine will be released on July 26. So that would be no, considering it's well over a month between those two.

i want this and a time travel movie with the cast of first class, jackman, berry, page, and someone to play colossus and cable. then i might die happy.

Wolverine will never wear the mask as long as Fox is making the movies. Watch we will get some watered down version and still not be happy. I just hope the story is better than Whorigins

the studio who did the punisher movies and ghost rider needs to take over the x men- marvel knights- quality wise, ill admit they suck, but at least we would get an r rated wolverine. lol

PowerProphet, you have an excellent point. We might get small visits from characters in movies and rarely a group movie, much less individual character films. Let's hope these movies turn a corner and become great films.
