Earlier this morning X-Men: Days of Future Past director Bryan Singer tweeted a small glimpse at the script from this summers upcoming film featuring what appears to be Logan and Hank's first encounter with one another within the X-Mansion (as seen in recent released photos from the film)

The ultimate X-Men ensemble fights a war for the survival of the species across two time periods in X-Men: Days of Future Past. The characters from the original X-Men film trilogy join forces with their younger selves from X-Men: First Class in an epic battle that must change the past – to save our future.”

JK, I'm actually excited to see what they do with this series once things get re-written.

Glad I got in here before it was flooded with negativity.

If people wait for X-Men to revert back to Marvel, they're gonna be waiting until they're dead.

Question:.... What exaclty have they been doing all this time? Does it really take that long for the effects? I'm expecting that it must be pretty impressive.. And why are they now just doing sound dubbing for beast? Shouldn't they have different groups/teams working on different things at the same time? I'm not really too familiar with Post-Production....

Also wouldnt Wolverine destroy Beast?

After Apocalypse finishes it's run I'd see a proper Phoenix Saga/Shi'ar Empire, Asteroid M or Savage Land based stories/films.

But then again I think I'd prefer a solo films for Gambit and/or Cyclops

@ MrBlackJack

man of steel had good effects(hated the shaky cam)but it wasn't nominated for any awards.

Favourite mutants have always been Nightcrawler, Sabertooth, Wolverine and Gambit. In my opinion they're the coolest ones.. And sadly we haven't seen enough of three of them in the X-men films... WHY?!

While I thought MOS had good effects overall.. In some scenes they went too overboard with the CG, resulting in some scenes to look cartoonish/like a video game

No man of steel was supposed to come out DEC. 2012 but was pushed back 6 months(June 2013) cause WB had their Hobbit movie coming out.

It wasn't cause of the effects

@MrBlackJack- I'm expecting something impressive from this visually. If it turns out to be nothing different from the previous films then I'll be dissappointed

@Luminus- what are you on about? If the bar is being raised each yr when it comes to Special effects in CBM's then obviously I will have higher expectations. I thought First Class had good effects.. An improvement from the previous Xfilms.. That was in 2011... If the effects in these movies don't atleast meet that bar/improve I will be disappointed. They have also said in interviews that we are in for a treat when it comes to the CG sequences. My expectations are high

The effects should look very good, X-MEN: The Last Stand was Fox Studios most expensive film at the time of it's release and the CGI still holds up today, especially the Golden Gate Bridge and the levitating house scenes.

Why does everyone think Wolverine would beat Beast so easily? Beast is stronger, faster, smarter, and more agile. Wolverine may be more skilled, but Beast could definitely hold his own.
