The Bourne Legacy takes place after the conclusion of The Bourne Ultimatum, as a new cast of characters grapple with the consequences of Jason Bourne's actions. Under the direction of Tony Gilroy, and starring Jeremy Renner as Aaron Cross, Rachel Weisz as Stephanie Snyder, Edward Norton as Byer, and David Strathairn as Noah Vosen, the movie is set to be released on August 3, later this year.

Norton does a weird Nic Cage hairdo in some movies. He's better than that, man. Shave that wig, Ed. :)

This needs a caption contest.

Renner: "I heard about you. You disappeared and no one knew why."

Norton: "I'll tell you why. But first, have you met my friend Mr. Howard?"

You know, I just saw all the Bourne films and yeah while its a shame to lose Damon, this just looks badass.

Renner Vs. Norton. Jeremy Renner is finally getting the attention and star light he deserves. Being backround in Avengers, its very sad for him. I hear he didn't even get paid much.

I look forward to this film, because Renner is just as much of a badass as Damon imo

Cool, Noah Vosen comes back? So what happened to Pam Landy? And Nicky Parsons is still a loose end.

Norton: Don't make me angry.

@King

Yeah dude I'm hoping Renner and Damon team up in the next one to either completely take down the CIA or go against a new threat. Imagine how badass that would be. Maybe even give Renner his own trilogy and then do it

I honestly think Ruffalo is a more talented actor.

I don't understand the love for Norton, he's done some good films, and he was good in the hulk, but he wasn't sensational in that, in my opinion.

@wolverinesfury Ruffalo is hardly a low-grade actor, but I DO wish they had kept Norton. Even if I like Ruffalo better, I still would have wished they had kept Norton, for continuity's sake.

I didn't realize Norton was in this one. Wasn't overly excited about it before and this pretty much seals the deal. This will be a pass for me.

@Chazz, Pretty sure he's actually taller than Tom Cruise. Besides, tall action heroes are a dime a dozen. As long as the guy has the muscle tone and looks convincing kicking the crap outta people, there's no problem.

I've really gotten tired of the Bourne series. I loved the first movie, but not long into the second movie did I feel they were just milking it and relying on shock value that simply wasn't there. I know it's a book series, my brother, last I checked, had read every one of them, but I think the story lost sight of itself.

Even so, I'll give this a chance based simply on Jeremy Renner. I've liked him in everything I've seen, from 28 Weeks Later to Ghost Protocol.

@superiorkung. Noah, Pam and Finneys's character all return. Not sure about Nicki though?

P.S. I hate Weiss. Poor female lead choice

It's not that anyone doubts Ruffalo is good/better as Banner.. But Norton was the ONLY one not to come back for The Avengers

this thread has become more about "Hulk/Banner ~ Norton vs Ruffalo" so I'll go with it too. Haven't seen Avengers YET, but I don't think you can compare ANY Hulk/Banners at all.

I predict Ruffalo's version will be MOST popular & visually amazing because this iteration GIVES PERMISSION to let Hulk loose. We will see Hulk really have at it - heck, Captain America gives him permission to "Samsh".

The other Banners/Hulks were all pretty much on the run, outcast, in hiding and ALWAYS holding back.
