Thanks to Tumblr blog DC Women Kicking Ass, we have some new low-res promo images for Cartoon Network's upcoming CG animated series Beware The Batman, which is scheduled to begin airing in early 2013. The following images (which appear in a recent issue of the DC Nation magazine) give us our first looks at some of the characters that'll be included in the show, such as Alfred, Katana, and the villainous Professor Pyg and Mr. Toad. Beware The Batman will be a different animated take on the Caped Crusader, as he takes on lesser known villains alongside Alfred and his new sidekick Katana (according to the show's producers, "In Katana, Batman sees someone who has lost her way and needs some guidance to find the right path."). The characters Humpty and Metamorpho will also be seen in the series. The voice cast includes Anthony Ruivivar as Batman, Sumalee Montano as Katana, J.B. Blanc as Alfred, and Kurtwood Smith as Lt. James Gordon.
