"Oh yeah, I'm gonna do a Marvel Comics thing called Ant-Man," said Michael Douglas when David Letterman brought up the 2015 adaptation, and suggested that the veteran actor still has the opportunity to take on new and challenging roles. "Yep, Ant-Man with Paul Rudd - wonderful actor- and I'm taking Dylan out to Comic-Con for the first time in my life. Which I hear is a scene and a half." Letterman then asked if Ant-Man was a popular comic, to which Douglas replied, "I'm not a comic guy...a couple people in your staff know about it. I don't think it was one of your major [superhero] ones, but this is about an ant." Back on San Diego Comic-Con, which is two weeks away, the Hank Pym actor says he doesn't know all of what to expect. "They just say it is insane; they say it is completely insane. It's a little bit like a Halloween party...everyone gets dressed up as their favorite character; I'm not quite sure. But Marvel has a night & evening." Meanwhile, it was previously reported that Ant-Man was looking to cast a younger-looking Michael Douglas look-alike presumably for flashback scenes in the film, and now Project Casting reveals that the Atlanta-based Marvel Studios production is seeking experienced photo doubles/stand-ins for stars Evangeline Lilly, Michael Pena, and Corey Stoll. For specifics on how you could apply for the gig, make the jump here. In the meantime, check out this fan art of Douglas as Hank Pym.
