Scarlett Johansson Weighs In On Her Pregnancy Affecting THE AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON

Following the surprise announcement that Scarlett Johansson was a mother-to-be, it was rumored that filming for her fourth turn as Black Widow in The Avengers: Age of Ultron would either be fast-tracked, or production would be delayed. "Everything for Avengers 2 -- we're full steam ahead," she confirmed to The Huffington Post today during the Captain America: The Winter Soldier press junket. "We start shooting in three weeks and I'm stunt training and we're good to go. You know, I think it's something that is [laughing] hard to talk about, exactly. You know, trying to skirt around your question exactly [laughs] -- and, you know, doing a poor job of it. But, you know, like I said, everything is exactly on schedule." Everything is going as planned? "[Laughs] Everything is going just fine. The Black Widow always wins and will continue to."

In other promising news for Scarlett Johansson's Black Widow, SuperHeroHype sat down with Marvel Studios president of production Kevin Feige also during The Winter Soldier junket, and asked him about the Russian spy possibly getting her own movie. "I think the idea would be great," Feige said. "We've got various outlines and ideas of where to take that. As Scarlett already said, there's a big element that explores her back story in an upcoming Marvel feature. The question really is, 'When will we take her out of the ensemble and have her do her own thing?' As you saw in [Captain America: The Winter Soldier], as you'll see in Avengers: Age of Ultron, she's really the key to so much of the plot development." What do you think?

The Avengers: Age of Ultron stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Cobie Smulders, Jeremy Renner, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen, with Paul Bettany, Samuel L. Jackson, and James Spader. The film is set for release on May 1, 2015.

Why does she need her own film? No to that. Much more important characters that need one.

I love Scarlett, but with Marvel only doing 2 films a year, a BW film is very unnecessary. She's already had lead roles in 4 movies (Including AOU, TWS), she's fine as is as a character.

The day Black Widow gets her own movie is the day I stop watching Marvel movies. I will only allow that to happen when they've introduced every single important Marvel character like Black Panther and Dr. Strange to the MCU. I don't really see how they'd want to waste a possible movie spot on a BW movie, no offense.

Ill accept a widow movie if Barton and Bucky are in it. Other than that, with Marvel's schedule of doin 2 films a year (they might push it to three) I just really dont think a Widow movie is something we need unless theyre setting it up in TWS and AoU

What's alll this BW news when Hawkeye still needs to be fleshed out. BW had good chunck of time in Iron Man 2, Avengers, Cap 2, and soon Avengers 2. Hawkeye had a bit part in Thor and was himself for 5% of the Avengers. I mean seriously let him team-up with someone and get some screen time.

Hopefully we get more info on Hawkeye's backstory.
