Explosions, Tumbler prototypes, and a curious Bane speech, were the highlights of Christopher Nolan's TDKR shoot, at the Heinz Field stadium! We've had a fair share of video footage and stills...well here's an even closer look at Tom Hardy as Bane. Don't be confused by the tattoos on Hardy's arms, because in the scene in which he's giving his speech, he's wearing a coat. The image basically just shows Hardy awarding lucky members of the audience with prizes. Must've been pretty cool getting an iPad from Tom Hardy in his Bane outfit ! ;)




The Dark Knight Rises is scheduled to hit cinemas July 20th, 2012, and will feature an all-star cast that includes Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman Marion Cottilard, Anne Hathaway, Josh Pence, Tom Hardy, Morgan Freeman & Jospeh Gordon Levitt.

he was a lot bigger in the first pic of him and he looked bigger in the teaser trailer. I think the post production effects and camera tricks will be used to make him appear larger than life. it's going to be interesting to see how they go about this.

That looks shit. Generally the great thing about the villains in Nolan's films is the simplicity. Not necessarily changing the character but essentially stripping them down to the most basic version possible so it's neither flashy nor campy. Bane suck IMO though. The verdict is still out on Catwoman though I was not fond of what we were shown.

The guy to banes left looks more threatening. The design is all wrong. Lets hope he is kept to a bane-minimum in the film.

The design of particularly Bane and Catwoman is terrible...Im not buying into "nolan will make it good" rubbish. Joker and Two-face looked awesome with a good story behind them. Bane looks crap and so does Catwoman.

Really? he couldn't have bulked up his arms a little bit? He looked SO much bigger in Warrior. This kinda looks like a ripe batch of horse shit IMO.

Hardy's delivery sounds campy, and Bane should look like an animal. Not some Pudgy ex-con with a scorpion breathing mask on. I'm really worried this isn't going to live up to the Dark Knight.

I find the extreme difference of opinion re: Bane and his outfit hilarious. I'm looking forward to seeing the final project next year and how it all plays into the movie.

Read the article, it clearly states this is not a shot from the film, but of Tom Hardy giving out prizes to people in the crowd...and that he'll be wearing a coat during this scene.

This kind of reminds me of the chubby actor with the unimpressive arms who faught Schwarzenegger in 'Commando'... totally unbelievable that he would give Arnie any trouble, and Hardy doesn't look like he'd give Bats a problem either. He's no Humongous.

I'm liking the sleeveless look better than those earlier pics with him wearing a shirt under his armor. This makes him look more Bane in the comics.
