The Dark Knight Rises Prologue Rated; Official Title for The Batwing Possibly Revealed!
Nolan really isn't doing that well at hiding spoilers for this movie is he? A short exercept from The Dark Knight Rises script has apparentally leaked onto the SHH! forums, and it reveals the name of Nolan's Batwing... Hit the jump for those details and more!
Once again found on the Official The Dark Knight Rises Community, the Batwing is simply titled, 'The Bat' which I suppose is quite a fitting name for it actully. Here's the exercept:
INT GOTHAM-SKYSCRAPER STAIRWELL - Wayne races up the stairs. Fox gamely follows.
(scene 247) actors bale, freeman
EXT GOTHAM-SKYSCRAPPER ROOFTOP - They get the Bat ready for flight.
(scene 248) actors bale, freeman
EXT ROOF TOP-SKYSCRAPER - Batman and Catwoman on the roof. He turns and she's disappeared.
(scene 100) actors bale, hathaway
EXT SKY ABOVE GOTHAM - PLATE: Batman brings the bat towards a landing in Gotham.
(scene 124pt)
Thanks to Bilad Bhatti for finding the news on Nolan Fans! In other news, BoxOfficeMojo have revealed the official rating for The Dark Knight Rises Prologue, and unsuprisingly it is: PG-13, a 12a rating for my fellow Brits! The only information it gives is why it was rated that way (obviously). It says that the prologue contains:
some violence (IMAX Prologue).
Hmm, could that violence possibly be back-breaking...? The great thing is that if it has been rated by the MPAA then it has already been made and edited, so there's a better chance that the actual Prologue will leak online... Whatever it turns out to be, although that leaked description that I posted a few weeks back stands a pretty good chance of being the real deal. What leaked description was that, I hear you ask? Have no fear, just click HERE to read it! What do you think of this? Do you think the exercept is the real deal, or is it just a fan's wishful thinking?
The Dark Knight Rises stars Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Tom Hardy, Gary Oldman, Anne Hathaway, Marion Cotillard, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Josh Pence and Morgan Freeman!
