Now you can clearly see Bruce Wayne limping along with his cane. Let the speculation begin! Has Bane broken Batman's back, or is this a continuation scene, picking up from where Bruce Wayne left off the last movie. If you remember he fell from several stories during his battle with Two Face and limped along to his Batpod.

"Mr. Wayne, where have you been?"

Uploaded by wsglisson on Oct 8, 2011
This footage was taken on the set of Batman The Dark Knight Rises in downtown Los Angeles on Wednesday October 6th. In this scene Bruce Wayne (Christian Bale) arrives at the Biltmore Hotel in his Lamborghini. He appears to walk with a limp assisted with a cane.

The Dark Knight Rises hits theaters July 20th 2012 and stars Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Michael Caine as Alfred Pennyworth, Garly Oldman as Jim Gordon, Tom Hardy as Bane, Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle, Joseph Gordon-Levitt as John Blake and Marion Cotillard as Miranda Tate.

It is the Holy [frick]ing Grail :P
The paparazzi just asked Wayne once "where've ya been?!" as he limps a slight bit down the walkway with use of his cane.

As anyone would guess, it could be either directly after TDK, or part-way through TDKR. Either way, he moves like he just got off of work after standing on his feet all day.

Not to nitpick, but if this were in ANY way realistic, and if he had any injury that required the use of a cane...
WTF is he doing driving himself around in a Lamborghini? Think about how low that car is seated....

@Anthrax he's saying whats with the cane and this could mean Bane might have broken Batmans back

Lol @ Anthrax

As for the *ahem* story in question, if Bane breaks Bruce Wayne's back he's gonna need a lot more than a cane to get around, unless the film takes place over a period of five years or something.

So, there's some speculation that Batman's rogue gallery from the previous film and a few new ones will be teased. Bane breaks them out and the law is abolished. The criminals rule No Man's Land. Gordon's unit and Batman stick together to reclaim their city. And Catwoman has her own personal vendetta against someone, my guess, Matthew Modine's Nixon character. This video bores me but the "epic conclusion to the Dark Knight legend" continues to intrigue me.

The Bat will be broken. Nice to see Nolan stick with Bruce getting his back broken.

And whats with everyone posting Avengers trailers in DC articles. Yeah the trailer was EPIC beyond comprehension I saw it like 10 times at work and showed everyone but show some class.

Mr. Wayne, where have you been? I just debriefed SkullDeath's, I told him to stay out on every Marvel article but the guy just won't listen to me.

I don't get why everyone's excited about Bane crippling Batman. Do we not like Christian Bale's Batman?

Oh it would be accurate.... only in the comics he's miraculously healed and returns a year later, because of course, they're not going to rid DC of Batman. You don't show Bane lifting Batman over his head, slamming his back down on his knee, and expect to ever see him move again after that in a Nolan movie. I mean if Harvey dies from a small but significant fall...

The ONLY upside I can think is that it'll force Batman to use the space between his ears, rather than rely on some last minute gadget or judo to defeat Bane. But I don't think that would be all that it's cracked out to be.

First off, not ALL Marvel fans are trolling the TDKR, thats a massive generalization.

And several DC fans are not exempt in this, its hard to go into a Avengers related article without a rabid DC fan in there talking mess.

Seriously, ON BOTH SIDES, this has to stop. When DC and Marvel have a successful comic movie, thats a good thing for both sides and all comic fans. When one single comic movie does bad, regardless if its Marvel or DC, genpop/critics look at it as a failure of the genre, they don't give a crap what company did it...to them its all the same.

As a comic fan, I'm looking forward to TDKR and Avengers, and dammit, I want both to succeed very much.

Um, I'm not sure a limp is the most common symptom of someone who has their back broken

Why do i have to choose? Can't I just like both movies? When it comes down to the Marvel vs. DC thing I just don't get it. I understand how the X-Men alone have more cool characters than DC has in all; but I still love the top stars of DC.

Lets just hope all the movies keep getting better so none of us ever have to sit through another Steel or Elektra again.

How little Tommy is going to break Batman's back is beyond me, but hopefully Nolan will CGI him up to make him look like he could do the job.

@SHO1138 all the people on this site who like both DC and Marvel feel the same way you do. I actually sort of feel bad for the 'fanboys' who are obsessed with one and 'hate' the other one. I don't get why one would ever limit oneself to just one, and close all those great stories and characters off from oneself. I don't know any real comic book fans in real life who only like one and seriously hate the other. I really do think that most of the kids on this site who are fanboys of one or the other, are phonies and have never bought a comic book in their entire lives. that's just my theory though.
