BATMAN V SUPERMAN: The Batmobile Might Hit The Mean Streets Of, Uh, Detroit This August

A new report claims that Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice will be shooting some action-packed scenes featuring "fast moving cars" in Detroit next month, meaning that we will more than likely get to see the new Batmobile in action! Hit the jump for further details...

Batman-News have spotted a report over at OLV in which they reveal that businesses near Detroit's Corktown district have been notified that a movie will be shooting around Shelby St from W Larned St to Lafayette and Fort Street from Woodward to Washington Blvd between August 6th - August 9th. It's obviously Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, and residents have been warned to expect no explosions, but plenty of fast moving vehicles and smoke. There have been rumours of a Batmobile chase being shot sometime this summer, so it now seems very likely that we will indeed see the iconic vehicle in action as we did with the Tumbler and The Bat when The Dark Knight Rises was being filmed in New York and Chicago. This could even mean that we get a look at Ben Affleck on set dressed as the Caped Crusader, or it could be that we end up seeing very little at all! If you're in the area during these dates, be sure to send some photos out way...

They're probably also telling you that all the destruction, bleakness and run down buildings are for the film too, but that's just Detroit...

If Batman-News was reliable, then Tom Hardy would have been Hugo Strange, Catwoman would have been a stripper in TDKR, and she would have also had a helmet/cowl of sorts too.

Those fast action scenes featuring fast moving cars will actually be footage of them getting jacked and driving away...saves money on the budget and gives it a realistic feel

"This is going to be the greatest movie of all time"

This COULD be a great CBM. That's all I am going to go out on a limb and say at this time based on the limited info that we do know. People get on others here for saying a movie is going to suck before they have actually seen it, but the same goes for those who say it is going to be the greatest. No one actually knows until you see it and even then it is purely subjective.

@DIAMONDZ

Lol

I'm side eying WB right now bc they could release this movie easily in August 2015 if they wanted to. I feel like theyre shooting two movies back to back or something.

I know its probably not going to be the best of all time, but I'm just really excited for it. I've been a DC fanboy since I was born. This is like the second coming of Jesus for me.
