BATMAN VS. SUPERMAN: Stars Pick A Side - Part 2

BATMAN VS. SUPERMAN: Stars Pick A Side - Part 2

Total Film have posted a second vid of various movie and tv stars (including the likes of Daniel Radcliffe, Sylvester Stallone, Robert de Niro, Allisson Williams, Lena Dunham, Benedict Cumberbatch, & Lex Luthor himself, Jesse Eisenberg) telling them which hero they prefer and why.

Personally I think Peter Berg gave the best answer. Tentatively titled "Batman vs. Superman", the follow up to Man Of Steel is directed by Zack Snyder from a story by David Goyer and screenplay by Chris Terrio, and stars Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Amy Adams, Jesse Eisenberg, Gal Gadot, Diane Lane, Tao Okamoto, Callan Mulvey, with Holly Hunter, Laurence Fishburne, Jeremy Irons and Ray Fisher. As of right now, the film is scheduled for release on May 6, 2016.

I remember an interview with Eisenberg and the IT Crowd guy. His reaction when the topic came up is damn funny on reflection XP

It's a shame a great character like Superman receives hate because people are [frick]ing ignorant.

Hope you don't mind me asking, but what are your top five Superman stories and your top five Batman stories? And WW too if you want.

I mean solo stories, like for Batman the stories like Long Halloween, etc. and for Superman stuff like Birthright, etc.

Well, that's good, but Superman has been written to be even more complex than what you've seen in MoS. I'll gladly give you a list of the best Superman stories out there to go through.

Lol, I love how most of these actors don´t know shit about comicbooks...
But as soon as they´re cast:
"hmm oh yeah, I´ve always been a huge fan of the comics, the character was what inspired me to become who I am today..."

I think Henry Cavill might be one of the only honest ones.

Lol true. But still, the whole Superman thing is more about how people perceived him. I used to hate Superman because I went off of the perception everyone has of him based off of the Reeve films, that he's boring and perfect and lame.

By the way, one very underrated means of hurting Superman is using Krypton metals. They could always have Luthor create bullets, knifes, etc. out of the metals taken from Zod's ships for his LexCorp soldiers to use against Superman. Only saying, not everything has to be GK.

After seeing "Man of Steel," I prefer Supes.

Superman is the greatest and most inspirational superhero ever.
I literally cried after I read this story line. No comic book has ever made me cry before, like this one did.

Also, Kingdom Come was awesome! :)

@MAK
The Reeve movies made me love Supes when I was a kid, I used to run around in a Superman costume for no reason and all of the kids would look at me weird, and this was in the 1990´s cuz I was born in 1995, but as I grew up I grew further apart from Supes and found him boring as I watched the Reeves movies.

I think it´s because as you grow up you start to realize how dark and cynical this world is, as I got in to comics I got into Supes again due to the amazing stories, and then MOS made me an even bigger fan, I like how it was a dark and unforgivable world and he was just trying to do his best.

I´m going through a rough time and not everything ever ends up perfect but it inpired me to do my best no matter what.

THANK YOU! I've been looking for that for a while! I wanted to create a sketch for the second to last scene in my DCU that takes place there so I needed a basic layout. Thaks!

-Birthright
-For The Man Who Has Everything
-All-Star Superman
-Whatever Happened To The Man of Tomorrow?
-Superman for All Seasons
-Man of Steel (John Bryne reboot. Interesting to see a lot of modern Superman elements derive from)
-Kingdom Come (Superman is the central character)
-What's So Funny About...

That's only a couple of the top of my head.

Cool. But a reason why a lot of people hate Superman now is because they find Reeve's Superman as a character boring and they think that is Superman 100%.
SoFresh
SoFresh - 4/25/2014, 4:28 AM
It would be funny if they need to depower Supes like they did to Thor in the MCU.

Seems like people have the wrong perception of Superman. If anything we all are more related to Clark kent struggling to find a pace in this world. Looking to one day be like Superman, go anywhere can do anything...
