The GCPD Are On The Scene In New BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DOJ Set Snaps

Yesterday we got a look at the Gotham City jail, and now Batman News have been sent some pics of several Gotham City Police Department vehicles parked in the street outiside. Nothing particularly exciting/revealing of course, but you can see 'em after the jump.

So we know the GCPD will have a presence in the movie, but will their most famous officer show up? We've heard rumors of a Jim Gordon appearance but so far nothing has been confirmed. Zack Snyder directs Batman V Superman: Dawn Of justice, which stars Henry Cavill as Superman/Clark Kent, Ben Affleck as Batman/Bruce Wayne, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White, Diane Lane as Ma Kent, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Ray Fisher as Cyborg and Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman/Diana Prince. the film hits theaters March 25th, 2016.

@BatzFTWfan

I wish it was more Burton/comics/DCAU too but I don't think we're getting that. If anything I think Snyder is going to try and pull a Watchmen 2.0 which could be good or bad.

@BatzFTWfan

I would love that but I seriously doubt it. After what Nolan did with him all WB and everyone else wants is "Frank Miller Batman with a dash of Nolan." A lot of people don't appreciate Burton's Batman.

WB could have the best of both worlds with implementing some DCAU influences along with the comics. It would be awesome.

Detroit won't even notice more cop cars, they're like taxis in NY...

I really hope the feel of this Batman is a Year One/Long Halloween type feel. Both capture the intimidating presence of Batman and the corrupt and wasted feel of Gotham.

I'm afraid this version of Batman gets nolany realistic again. I hope it gets more of Burton/comics/DCAU than Nolantion.

Burton didn't understand Batman at all and the DCAU Batman is light years away from Burtons Batman and is probably the best representation of Batman so far on our screens, so don't compare them.

As for the Nolan comment...How can you say that from some pictures of GCPD cop cars? It could do a lot worse than follow Nolans Batman.

@Supes123

I'm pretty sure that's for his role in Trumbo, where he plays a screenwriter in the 40s who gets labeled as a communist and writes scripts under pseudonyms.

I wish they would make Gotham like in the Animated Series, but that seems like what they're doing in 'Gotham' on Fox. They probably wan't to differentiate.
