...Anyone curious about who died in the 'trailer'?

So, about that Grimlock? That Galvatron? That robot with a parachute?

Well...I couldn't get into it as much because it seems Ed Brubaker's work and the right blend of Ultimates and Secret War are coming to life. There's a scene I'll get to that got my mind ticking.

Looks like SHIELD and Fury are placed on the lam and it's apparent that many moles and spies will be revealed in this film. I like the resistance and cynicism that Rogers shows to Fury, who seemed to show similar insubordination to his powers-that-be. Looks exactly like the setup that had Fury in the 616 using a team to raid on Dr. Doom - using fear and freedom as ends to a terrorist means, all in the name of the greater good. Clearly, Rogers and Fury run into a lot of differences in ideals with each other and with their cohorts at SHIELD. Maria Hill, will she become the 616 b-tch we know her to be?

The Ultimates Falcon looks remarkable but how amazing is this mysterious Bucky Barnes? I came up with the name BUCKYCAP on forums years ago and when I saw Bendis use it in Avengers #3 in 2012 (not saying he stole it), I knew just why Bucky remained my favorite Cap and Marvel character - his past ordeals and his moral compass, or lack thereof, make him human. Seb Stan failed in the first film, which I hated, but this seems more grounded and gritty. The Winter Soldier looks tough as nails and the action sequences are remarkable but...there's THAT scene here that brings up a few theories from me.

Could Bucky die here after his redemption? Seeing Widow in tears could connect her past to him and maybe even tie in a Hawkeye angle but if they go the 616 and establish Natasha's past to him...I'd be stoked. Maybe this 'death' won't last allowing Bucky to go undercover for a spinoff with his clandestine parties such as Widow or Barton, or maybe allow him for a return in another sequel. But, could Fury bite the dust? God knows Widow will fake and cover for him...allowing him to go underground as per the Civil War. This allows him to link with Rogers when needed and also, allows that Secret War atmosphere when he decides to go rogue. Maybe he'll recruit Secret Avengers? Wait, maybe it's an LMD? Who knows right? But whether it's Bucky or Fury, it'll be a fake death and I can see a million epic possibilities coming forth which do the comics, so much justice.

Sound off!
