Ronda Rousey is one of the world's greatest fighters and a pretty good actress to boot. The UFC star has great geek credentials thanks to her love of everything from Pokemon to Game Of Thrones and Dragon Ball Z, and in a recent Reddit AMA, Rousey revealed a desire to take on the role of a certain superhero. "A lot of the good ones have been taken, but I’d like to vie for Miss Marvel!" she revealed, clearly meaning Captain Marvel (bear in mind that she was known as Ms. Marvel for decades before the name change). Rousey's main focus may be on the Octagon, but she's very much an up and coming actress too, so this could happen. She's certainly more than tough enough to effectively portray Carol Danvers! NO.

She's an awful horrendous actress who couldn't even say her lines remotely well in anything she's been in.
A phenomal fighter for sure and she makes the fight scenes seem genuine and bad ass but that's all.

Give her a silent henchman type role like Gina Carano has in Deadpool and I'm happy

She's awesome but she cannot act.

She managed to one-up Gina Carano (Soderbergh used her effectively in Haywire, Justin Lin not so much in Fast and Furious 6) when it comes to bad acting.

She's abt to star in her own biopic. Not that I think she should do this at all. Marvel usually does their own thing with casting however. Don't fix what isn't broken.

No, piss off Rousey. No one will ever call you Rowdy Rousey, that nickname belongs to a much higher power than you.

Why is she a big thing all of a sudden? I get she's recently gotten a few more significant wins in the UFC ring, but why is she getting her own big biopic, demands that she be put in more movies etc.? I just don't get it.
