As news continues to filter through regarding the changes DC will be making with their upcoming relaunch, we get a name and look for Lois Lane's new squeeze, along with a rumor that the Big Blue Boyscout may be cosieng up to Wonder Woman at some point too..

We now know that in the DCnU Supes and Lois are splitsville. But who will be keeping Lois warm at night if not good ol Clark? This fella..



Jonathan Caroll, a "never before seen co-worker" at the Daily Planet, is Lane's new super man, reports the NY Daily News.


Apologies for the size of the image, but apparently Caroll is the shirtless blond dude anyway. There is also a rumor by way of Cosmicbooknews that suggests Superman will be romantically linked to Wonder Woman as the series progresses. Hmmm, I think he traded up.

It always made the most sense that Superman and Wonder Woman would be a couple. Wonder Woman is the only woman who can bare Superman's child. Also the end of Kingdom Come made people wonder that the child of Superman and Wonder Woman would be the best superhero in the world.

I think it would be good to have Supes and WW together. They can go at it without Supes having to worry about splitting her in half like he could've with Lois :D

i think wonder woman will be a better partner for supe's as i feel that lois lane can't handle supe's strength at night ;)
i mean he's a guy who has skin strongerthan titanium! how the hell is it even logical for him to have a sexual relationship with a normal human?

I am pretty much for this revamp except this turn of events no one will like the blonde guy and Superman and Wonder Woman is the resort of the unimaginative.

DC reminds me of the movie "The Adjustment Bureau" lately. The only problem, they cant seem to erase the people memories to how things were supposed to be. Lois and Superman are like Ice Cream and Chocolate syrup, Pizza and Cheese, McDonalds and the Happy Meal; you cant have one without the other with it. You cant have Superman without him being in love with lois.

I think after the first few issues, avid readers, will begin falling away. Even in all the previous "reboots" of their (DC) realities, Superman and Lois are together. I could be wrong, and i hope this reboot does not stink to epic status, but its just a gut feeling.

Yes, clearly Supes and Wonder Woman must get it on...I mean, let's look at this honestly. Supes has to be one of only a very select handful of guys on earth who could even...how to put this delicately?..."break through" to Diana's affections. Without Supes (or Manhunter, but I'd say Supes is more likely), Wonder Woman remains Wonder Virgin forever.

Yes, that's right, Batman/WW fans. It's never gonna happen, not at least until Superman obligingly...er..."clears the way" for Bats's conquest (although, as with all of these human/superhuman dating things, you have to wonder how that really works...there are a lot of rather messy things I could think of if the superhuman loses control...but let's just look past that).

I hate a wonder woman and Superman couple. It just doesn't work out because we all know Clark's true love is lois. Bruce Timm in DCAU put it best by saying that it's like everyone wants the head quarterback (Superman) get with the head cheerleader (Wonder woman).

I've always liked wonder woman and superman together. Wonder Woman has nice personality and Lois is sort a bitch. FYI:On another earth that was depicted in kingdom come, Superman and Wonder Woman have children together.

The Lois & Clark romance is sacred and I doubt this will last forever but it does make sense this way. I mean they are grown ass men and women, they should be dating other people before they get together. I like the fresh takes because eventually, people will get tired of being able to predict the stories in both the comics and movies. The best part is that it's not a complete and total reboot either, so the connections will help expand the current characters and stories to a new level. I'm not gonna hate like some people who have yet to read the comics themselves, I will wait but I think this is the start of something beautiful.

Still, I suppose with prep time, it's an accepted fact that Bats could beat anything, so...heh heh...I can see Loeb's interior Bat-monologue now.

nope, just kidding... i mean, whadya expect really?? this is a comic book. they just gotta reVITALIZE once in a while, right. they did the same thing over at marvel with Peter and M.J. just know...in the END, Clark WILL still be back with Lois.
