Manofsuperguy, I really don't recommend someone starting Action Comics with issue 0, it's Grant Morrison for god's sake. All of his stuff comes together at the end.

i might pick this up when van sciver comes on. all the batman titles are pretty good now compared to how they were when the new 52 started. also i suggest i vampire.

Animal Man by Jeff Lemire is the best written book published by DC Comics. Every other book is running a lap behind.

Batman by Scott Snyder is the best written book for an A-list hero in the DC's new 52. Snyder is a superb writer, but Lemire is just on a different plain.

Wonder Woman by Brian Azzarello is the best of the A-list MAJOR character reboots. It has a VERTIGO vibe. It's better than Aquaman, and the supporting cast actually enhances the book .

Aquaman by Geoff Johns started strong, it made Aquaman cool, but it started losing steam once the 'Others' were introduced. It's as if Geoff Johns ran out of story ideas.

Action Comics by Grant Morrison is not as great as his “All- Star Superman” run (that was fantastic). He does do a ton with cliffhangers and he does add one 'awe' inspiring moment per issue, but I was expecting more from the guy that wrote “All-Star Superman.” It's not bad, but it isn't as great as people say it is.

Justice League by Geoff Jones is a great team book, but it's not amazing in anyway, shape, or form. It really hasn't given us anything new. Nothing remotely as awesome as Mark Waid's 'Tower of Babel' or Joe Kelly's “JLA: Golden Perfect.” The stories have been unmemorable. 20 years from now, nobody will be talking about what happened in these issues. And, Geoff Jones gave us the Brainiac (story arc) in Action Comics #866-870, and he revived Green Lantern, but I think he might be stretching himself thin.

Animal Man is the best written title of the New 52.
Batwoman has the best art.
