All we have been told is that we will find out more at Wondercon.
Saturday, March 17 at the Talk To The Hat panel, 4:00PM PST to be precise. Coincidentally DC recently announced a revamp of their own Captain Marvel. Although that character will now be going by the name "Shazam", the name he used to shout in order to transform. It is not known if we will be seeing Mar-Vell - last seen back in 2010 during the "Chaos War" - return or a brand new character take up the mantle. I guess we will have to wait until Wondercon to find out.
