The folks over at AICN have reportedly got their hands on corporate documents that stipulate that Warner Bros. is planning to release a new "Justice League" and "Batman" film in 2015. A "Justice League" film has been discussed ever since "
Man of Steel" was in post-production and the 2015 date has always been said to be the target for Warner Bros. Still, the film studio would have to get the ball moving pretty quickly to get a film in theaters by Summer 2015. It's not impossible but they'd have to act extremely fast and would need to have a script already in place. Of course a "Batman" or "Justice League" film would come
without Legendary Pictures who have since parted ways with WB and now call NBC Universal home. No worries however, WB has secured
a better deal for itself with Dune Entertainment so financially, the studio is as sound as ever.
Hopefully, we'll hear something concrete at tomorrow's panel for WB. Announcements could come at the joint presentation with Legendary (they still have projects together under their current contract that expires in December) or at the Superman 75th Anniversary panel which will be attended by director Zack Snyder and Superman actor Henry Cavill.
