SDCC '11: Over Six Minutes Of Footage From Green Lantern: The Animated Series

Six minutes of footage from the upcoming Cartoon Network cartoon Green Lantern: The Animated Series that was shown at Comic Con has found it way online featuring Red Lanterns, Oa, and the Green Lantern Oath.

Thanks to a tip from EasterBunnyKiller we now have an extended six and a half minute look at the upcoming cartoon, Green Lantern: The Animated series. Some of the footage has been seen before, but it does give us a good look at Hal flying his fighter jet, more of the Red Lanterns, and hearing Hal recite the Green Lantern's Oath.

Awesome. Nice find. I surprisingly liked it.

Six minutes of this was 10x better than the feature film.

But the animation style needs more texture.

The animation style makes everything look action figure sized. But the actual lines are funny and I like it so far. I'll watch it when it comes out.

LMAO at people hating Hal's jocular attitude thinking that it's based off of Ryan Reynolds... This was actually how Hal was during the earliest days of his career before he went through all that shit that changed him into a serious brooder that he is today. Do your research. Hal practically got most, if not all, of Ollie's (Green Arrow) jokes when they were partners during their team-ups... and was pretty much a wiseacre himself every now and then before the revamp in the 80's/90's. As for the animation, it's basically a CGI version of the original JLA-type art back in the day as the influences can be seen clearly.

@LOL- Thank you for giving some of these people some knowledge about the characters they claim they kno. His "wise-ass" attitude and lightheartedness was even shown in the GL Animated movies and Justice League Frontier, problem with the movie was there was too much. Just give it a damn chance people, we know u like the Incredibles so stop complainin about this.

Not feeling the animation. Kinda feels like I'm watching a cheaper rip-off of all the Disney Pixar films. I understand they are trying to reach a younger demographic, but teens and adults watch cartoons too!
