SDCC '14: Scott Snyder Says BATMAN: ENDGAME Isn't The End of His Run
With Batman: Zero Year wrapping up this week, talk has turned to the next story for Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo, recently revealed to be titled Endgame. Snyder spoke briefly about it at SDCC, along with the fact that he'd love to write Wonder Woman and Captain America!
Scott Snyder (American Vampire) and Greg Capullo's (Spawn) critically acclaimed Batman: Zero Year, a modern version of the Dark Knight's origin, concluded this week with Batman #33, and after a few months of smaller stories, the team will return to the big league with Batman: Endgame. Despite what the title may suggest, they "have no intention of leaving Batman after Endgame. I thought you guys would be sick of me at this point!" Snyder said at his San Diego Comic-Con panel. "But I have more stories. The way I write it - it's Batman, you have to do the biggest stories ever. So I have a couple more of those in my head, and if you guys will keep me I'll do them. Greg is signed up through 50 already, and I'm not leaving my Gotham brother behind." The writer also revealed that he'd love to work on Wonder Woman, and that he has "a Captain America story I'd love to write." Well, if he's got nearly 20 issues of Batman left, that may be a while away! Are you excited for Batman: Endgame?
