Production Stepping Up On MARVEL'S DOCTOR STRANGE

Nothing earth shattering here but Doctor Strange director Scott Derrickson has taken to Twitter to share a new snap of location scouting for the Phase Three Marvel flick.

 The Sinister directors picture admittedly does not reveal much other than confirming that pre-production is under way for the film, which is due for release on November 4th 2016 . It also appears that the film will be shot in New York where Steven Strange lives in the Marvel comics. Strange's famous residency is in Greenwhich Village so it's likely that this will feature in the Sorceror Supreme's solo flm.
Marvel's Doctor Strange will star Sherlock actor Benedict Cumberbatch as Steven Strage/ Doctor Strange with Chiwetel Ejiofor and Morgan Freeman rumoured to have supporting roles in the film which will be released on November 4th 2016.

Just seeing the commencing of Strange is great, can't wait for some 'real' set pics! Man, gonna get crazy with all the CBMs coming up!

Filming schedules for all these movies seem weird because of BvS and Deadpool. Don't know what's to be considered early/late right now.

only issue with that image of the thing is it looks a lot like the rock creature from Thor The Dark World. Still an overall solid design though.

They will probably shoot some iconic city shots in NY then move the production to Atlanta or London.

I lost interest when they cast Cumberbatch. Probably will be good but I wanted a different version, and he's in every [frick]ing big tentpole movie that comes out.

This and Ant Man are the only upcoming Marvel movies in which I have very little interest. Never cared for the character and am truly having difficulty figuring how exactly he is going to fit in the same world as the Avengers.

Yeah not a big Doc Strange fan but Cumberbath and Chiwetel have me on board and honestly have watched every CBM ever made so I was gonna watch anyway give him a good villain.
