Anyone think that he may take up the mantle of batman at the end of the film? Well maybe not be called batman but if Bruce dies or is too badly hurt in the conclusion he may take the responsibility

So Batman reprsents one side. Bane represents another side. And JGL and Hathaway are the "audience" like character of whom we relate to that are pawns in the middle. cool.

It could be Robin.

If Nolan said he wouldn't be including him in his movies.

I find it interesting that TDKR and Batman returns share the elements of being a sequel involving Catwoman, a snow covered Gotham City along with a masquerade scene between Bruce and Selina.

I also like that this film seems to focus much more on Bruce turning to trust others in his mission despite the fact that his last alliance with a city official (Harvey Dent) caused the ultimate undoing of all his work as Batman.

Didn't Dick try giving up Robin and Nightwing to be a cop in Bludhaven for a stretch? Hmmmmm...

@Nolanite,,,,how on Earth could you say Harvey Dent was a 'mystery character' as if we didn't all know he eventually becomes Two-Face?
Greengo
Greengo - 6/29/2012, 5:16 PM
Except the trailers Nolanite!
SentinelofLiberty
SentinelofLiberty - 6/29/2012, 6:14 PM
Nolanite.....oooooh, internet tough guy! Impressive!

Of course, those of us with half a brain who are able to read past a 2nd grade level knew Long Halloween was going to influence TDK. We were therefore able to deduce that Dent would become Two-Face in the movie at some point. As you're supposedly a Nolanite, you probably also reasonably assumed he would have more than one villain in the movie, since Begins used two (even 3) "big" villains, and a story with "just Joker" wouldn't really fit with Nolan's MO for telling stories that are a little more complicated than the average popcorn flick.

I breathlessly await your next attempt at an actual adult conversation.
