With more details expected this weekend at the New York Comic Con, DC have released the following teaser poster that gives us our first look at how the series will be animated. Unfortunately, it's not very big and I'll update the article with a better version if/when one becomes available.
The image is apparently from a poster that will be given away at the NYCC this weekend. Executive producer Bruce Timm, producer Giancarlo Volpe and producer/story editor Jim Krieg will be signing the poster at the DC Comics booth from 4 - 5 pm on Saturday.
The live-action adaptation of
Green Lantern starring Ryan Reynolds as Hal Jordan, with Mark Strong, Peter Sarsgaard, Blake Lively, Tim Robbins, Jon Tenney and Angela Bassett will be released in theaters on June 17, 2011! A direct-to-DVD film will also be released that month to coincide with the movie.
The
Green Lantern: The Animated Series panel will be held on Saturday, October 9th at 2:30-3:30pm in Room 1A14 at New York Comic Con.
