Please god, no! AICN is reporting a RUMOR that JT is doing a screen test for the role of Hal Jordan! Well, its only a screen test, right? That doesn't mean he gets the part.

"Got an unconfirmed rumor that at Leavesden Studios - there's been some Warner Bros. screen testing on GREEN LANTERN and that Justin Timberlake was suiting up for the test. That does not mean that JT is going to be Hal Jordan, but just that he's one of the guys that they've been seriously considering for the role of our Emerald Knight."

WB plans a June 17, 2011 release for the movie, so we're hoping official casting news give us more info.

Has anyone seen any of his movies? He is actually a pretty good actor. Especially in Southland Tales,, now there was a mindblower. I personally think if he is cast than it would draw a big crowd, but I think he might be able to make it work.

In all honesty, he's not a bad actor.. But I wouldn't be able to associate him with Hal Jordan!!

That rendition of "The Killers - All These Things That I've Done" mid way through Southland Tales is like woah! Class!

That would be interesting if he and Cameron Diaz both get cast! They could just film the behind the scenes cat fight between Diaz and Jessica Biel and throw it in the movie.

Edit:Oops, I confused Green Hornet and Green Lantern in regards to Diaz. Looks like we won`t get that cat fight.

I`ll give the guy credit, he has one hell of a resume...

i gotta say, after seeing him in alpha dog and black snake moan, he's not my pick but this might not be bad. i'd rather see him as the flash if he's gonna get into the superhero movies and all. but he's not a bad actor.

nah...he's not a bad actor. But I would have trouble seeing him as a bigger hero. Maybe a supporting role somewhere.

The media says it's for GL but they could call him up for Aquaman in JLA guys. Not saying i'd like that but... Aquaman's a fag anyways. It would just bring more popularity to the character LOL :P
