My contact on the CGI team for Green Lantern just sent me a couple photos he took while the artist was away from his desk!

UPDATE: If you haven't figured it out by now, this "article" was an April Fool's day joke. Psyche!

I finally got a tidbit from my contact on the Green Lantern CGI team, or should I say a snapshot? I think he took the pictures with his phone, so the quality isn't as great, but it should give us an idea of what they're doing with GL's suit.

He grabbed the images while the artist was away from their desk. Apparently this is some of the initial work done for Green Lantern and is in preparation for some early posters and marketing materials.

I'm not sure I like the mesh/carbon fiber look, the lantern logo, or the Clooney like nippleage, but what do I know? I do like the Spider-Woman bust though :o)

yeah you can totally tell thats a photoshop of george clooney in batman and robin. look even closer, and you can tell that the lantern logo wasn't done very well. "B" for effort though

nice George clooney manip, it makes for a decent GL photo.



It was the chin and nipple that rally tipped me off, also the texture on the gloves.
Well done though, and honestly aside from the nipple I think it'd be a decent look if the green was just brightened up a bit.

also, in the pic of the computer screen, that one full body pic of GL floating is from the video game Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe. the background totally gives it away

Heh, actually got me for a split second there. "Lantern Nipples". If there were to be nipples on the GL outfit, shouldn't they be shaped like little GL logos? I can just see Hal shooting 3 blasts of green energy, one from the ring and each nipple :D
