Director James Gunn Hinting at Wasp Cameo in GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY?

We might be getting a bigger film than we expected as James Gunn possibly hints at the character of Wasp appearing.

Today director James Gunn posted an interested tweet on Twitter stating he has been stung in the ear by...a wasp? Interesting to note there is also a Marvel character named Wasp. This can't be a coincidence at all ladies and gentlemen.






Looks like it's finally happening folks! The Wasp will finally have (sort of) a role within the current Marvel universe.

"A jet pilot gets stranded in space, and must unite a diverse team of aliens to form a squad capable of defeating cosmic threats."

Guardians of The Galaxy is coming 2014.

I have this feeling , at the end of the movie we see ironman fly off into outer space, they probably planed on using that scene in ironman 2, but to ment people found out, so there probably going to use that scene at the end of GOTG !

I could see her making a cameo in it, but not having a significant role. It's a damn shame that Doctor Girl in Iron Man 3 that was rumored to play her wasn't her. Would have been such a cool connection to move things forward.

A: The fact that you actually THINK this is some kind of "hint" that a character who has absolutely NOTHING to do with this movie is going to be in this movie

B: You think Gunn can't make a joke of the fact that he got stung by a wasp and...oh ha ha...he is making a movie for a company that has a character named WASP

SERIOUSLY????!!!! Are you seriously serious? The man was LITERALLY stung in the ear by an actual wasp. This is no "hint" or "clue" or "tease"....Janet Van Dyne is NOT GOING TO BE IN GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY! She is probably not even going to be in Avengers II and that actually WOULD make sense. It was a joke! And to be honest he had to know that someone on the internets was going to "read" into it like half of you people are. THAT'S why it's so funny. And so very, very, sad.
