GHOSTBUSTERS Cast Pay A Visit To Children's Hospital In Full Costume

The cast of Paul Feig's Ghostbusters reboot (Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones) dropped in on the Tufts Medical Center for children in full costume to surprise kids.

The kids at the Floating Hospital for Children at Tufts Medical Center got a nice surprise this past Saturday when Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones dropped in to raise patients' spirits dressed as their Ghostbusters characters. This isn't the first time we've seen the ladies in full costume, but they seem to be wielding some updated proton packs to aid in their spook-catching.

More at the link below. The Ghostbusters reboot is currently shooting in Boston, and is set to hit theaters July 22, 2016.

That's nice of them but they don't look like ghostbusters.

I really think most people on this site are sad losers. First everyone hates on Jurassic World, which is proof you're boring. Now all the virgins are complaining about this movie and even the fact these actresses did something really nice. Sad fanboys. You need to grow up.

Still hate this movie.

There are so many reasons why this is dumb.

1. These aren't the Ghostbusters.
2. Kids now these days don't know who the Ghostbusters are.
3. People who do know who the Ghostbusters are, sure as hell know it isn't them.
4. The movie hasn't come out yet.
5. People don't really care for this reboot.
6. This movie will most likely flop due to no one talking about it.
7. McCarthy's jokes will all most likely be self fat jokes.

We should really behave ourselves. This is really awesome of them. And it's a trendy thing to do, now that Chris Pratt and Chris Evans have made it popular.
However... I do think that the implications of the Ghostbusters visiting a children's hospital to be in pretty poor taste, don't you?

This film just got some brownie points

Awesome.

Also, if they play the Ghostbusters theme, I'm going to get a little excited, I can't help it.

Isn't there also a Chris Pratt and Channing Tatum Ghostbusters movie being planned, it could be cool with all those movies in the same universe

The fact that many of you need to make the conscious effort to post on an article like this about your dislike for this film, instead of realizing that whether the movie ends up being good or bad, at the end of the day, it's just a MOVIE!! And that what these women just did was very real and were able to give those parents and children a brief moment of relief. The more I see of many of you fanboys, the more I see that you are only a pathetic, shallow, and cowardly lot.

Yeah, I'll sign on to the general feeling of vague cringe going on here. Maybe if the costumes looked like actual Ghostbuster uniforms, but this is just strange.

DrKinsolving@ There is indeed a Ghostbusters cinematic universe being planned and as stupid as that sounds I can't lie to myself about how psyched I am for it.
Channing Tatum is said to be producing and possibly starring in a Chris Pratt led GB movie directed by The Russos! Only the gorram Russo brothers!
The Feig movie may be really good, it may be really bad, it may be simply average, but the Russo's Ghostbusters will be awesome and will most likely be set in the same universe.

All I can think is how amazing this movie could have been with Tina Fey, Amy Pohler, Emma Stone, and Aisha Tyler. It's not the concept that bothers me one bit, but the execution looks quarter-assed at best.

Ugh...

Insightful comment, i know... But thats all i got.
And no, they dont do it just because of the sick kids, its promotional material, good advertisement. So don't give me the "cmonnn its for the kids", because that surely isnt the only reason they went.

@IronMountaineer

Right on, I was actually just about to write something similar, the actors weren't obligated to do this, this is AWESOME

@DukeAcureds

Yeah, I'll be excited for it, this could be really good, and everybody is saying this has nothing to do with Ghostbusters but we haven't even seen a trailer or a movie, plus there are PROTON Packs in the pics above, I have a feeling this will definitely be a Ghostbusters movie and it could be really good

Just hearing that Ghostbusters theme in the Theatre will be awesome

And, that Pratt/Tanning movie with the Russo's sounds hilarious, would love to see that

That's nice and all but let's be real, the only people who would know who these people are or who they're supposed to be would be the parents

Which is still pretty awesome, imo, and when the movie comes out, it will be even more awesome for the kids too. They did this on a break from filming, every actor doesn't do this, they weren't obligated

So, much irony in this post.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but, don't you also throw hissy fits when ppl say something you perceive as negativity in DCEU article?

So, by criticizing StiltMantis and being a hypocrite in the process, are you not excersing inconsistencies in your thoughts, beliefs, and attitude? Isn't that Cognitive Dissonance too?? I guess it does "take one to know one".

I don't know what Cracker Jack box you got your pschology degree out of, but, give it back.
