I love what Feige said about the ratings. I have kids too and I want to be able to share this stuff with them.
JoeMomma29 - 3/14/2013, 8:07 AM
I bet the kid is some how tied into GOTG movie!
rocketeuropa - 3/14/2013, 8:32 AM
I don't know, I'm becoming VERY concerned for this movie. Although the trailers look good some of these recent details are off-putting. A little kid "giving as much as he gets"? Sounds suspiciously like "Short Round" from the Indiana Jones movies. Ben Kingsley's unmenacing ridiculous "drawl" and, more importantly, almost everyone in this movie IN IRON MAN SUITS! That sort of thing just delutes the main character AND the franchise. If EVERYONE is "super" NO ONE is! I'm surprised Feige hasn't picked up on that.
As I said I'm cautiously optimistic, but I'm not sure I like the direction this series is going.

Cool stuff. Can't wait for this movie.
LAXtremest - 3/14/2013, 8:39 AM
Having a little man of my own I am completely okay with this. Most of the comics aren't overflowing with gory violence anyways. I think most CBM's have done a good job of keeping the intensity up without oversaturating it in bloody violence, unless the character calls for it.

Superheroes interacting with kids = a good combination.

And here goes the pendulum of love/hate with thid movie. Everything that can e construed as negativity brings out the haters and everything that looks fairly promising brings out the love. Its so funny to watch because i noticed few people on here that have played both sides of that coin. Anyways, i dont have any kids, but i like the idea of IM boding with the child. And i do believe there may be more to his character than they say.

The movie looks great but then again, so did Ironman 2 and that film was a piece of shit!!!!
NovaCorpsFan - 3/14/2013, 10:34 AM
Star Lord might be this kid's brother or something.

Before I say this I'm going on record as saying I'm a DC fan (I want a JLA movie in the worst way). But I think it's amusing how folks will only ever compare every Marvel movie to Nolan's Batman franchise. WB/DC has made movies about their other characters (Green Lantern, Cat Woman, Jonah Hex, Superman: Returns, Constantine, etc.). And yet it always just comes back to the Dark Knight franchise. Some moron will counter with "Well that's because the Dark Knight is just that awesome." To which I'll say, for a character that's been in the public awareness through tv shows, movies and cartoons for 70+ years if it DOESN'T do at least moderately well, then you have a real problem. Let the Marvel movies stand on their own merit and do the same with the WB/DC movies. As for me, I'm looking forward to Iron Man 3, Man of Steel AND Thor 2 with equal anticipation (But I don't look forward to those nearly as much as Pacific Rim).
batpod0718 - 3/14/2013, 11:00 AM
It's going to be great. They have learned from IM2.
ATrueHero1987 - 3/14/2013, 12:15 PM
I see someone on this thread needs to get a life.

Anyway, I love what I'm hearing so far about this movie. I'm ready for this summer.

The screen test is secretly a screen test for the new Star Wars films coming out. Disney just want to get their screen testing right. Conspiracy!

siggisuperman - 3/14/2013, 12:47 PM
Making superhero comic book movies that children aren't allowed to see and won't enjoy would be pretty dumb. I started as a kid. Is there anyone in here who got interested in comics after they turned 18 ?
J0RELLC00LJ - 3/14/2013, 1:41 PM
I cant wait to see Kingsley's Mandarin, I still feel like he needs to look more like Jollem's pic earlier.

willyburz - 3/14/2013, 1:46 PM
Jollem can GTFO. All it ever is with you is passive agressive, underhanded comments. Shut the fu k up already, you cameron, maxi, and the bane guy. Same shit over and over.
NoJobBOB - 3/14/2013, 3:05 PM
Doubt the kid will have a huge impact on the movie unless Tony walks away from their scene and conversation with some sort of important self realization or a quasi epiphany thing.

Either way, it seems they all really like the kid and he did an awesome job. He'll be around more.
Tempo - 3/14/2013, 4:10 PM
@Jollem: what film is it in that photo?
RamonSuarez - 3/14/2013, 5:58 PM
Jollem sounds buttsore again. A shame he cannot get over the disappointment that was TDKR.

But no worries, this movie will rock and the MCU will continue to roll through its second phase like gangbusters.
kemuael - 3/14/2013, 6:24 PM
i agree with mr fiege and am looking forward to seeing pepper in her rescue armour :-)
ahhmynuts - 3/14/2013, 8:28 PM

HongKongPooey - 3/14/2013, 8:52 PM
