That would be an interesting fight to witness, going with Joker though as he always seems to get to anyone who challenges him.

Can't say. I'm on the fence with these two. If we go with the movie versions, it's Rorchach hands down but in the comics, anything is possible so...

Joker never really wants to kill Batman that has been established. He just likes creating situations for him to solve for fun. Rorschach holds no particular interest for the clown. Rorschach dies with a smile on his mask.

Comic Version -
I think, while on a case, Rorchach would walk into some wharehouse/abandoned factory scenerio the Joker had created for the Batman (usually involving a hostage). This would throw Joker off a step not expecting Ror, but it would switch his gears - he has NO pity or remorse for killing anyone except Bats. Being needlessly distracted, and the time it took to set this trap up, it insults & insences(sp?) Joker. He lashes out for Ror savagely.
Ror would go for the killing stroke after about a minute of trying to talk Joker down so-to-speak and rushes in. They'd maybe trade a few blows, but Ror would either get joker gas or flower acid in the face, maybe even both. While writhing in pain, Ror would manage to get Joker in the forehead with his grappling gun. They kill each other.
At they both fall dead, Bats, Nightowl, and Nightwing crash in. There's this long moment of silence, then Bats looks at Nightwing, then to the hostage, pops a line and leaves. NW watches him leave a lil shocked. Nightowl bends down and Lays Ror's fedora over his now burned and deformed face, stands and walks out. Nightwing looks at the joker's face, then releases the hostage. Sirens are heard and red and blue fill the room. Cops fill the room. Bullock tips up his hat, "I guess the Joker got his punchline".

Its not exciting, but i think thats what would happen. I'm not sure how Hollywood would botch it up, so I don't even wanna try to think about that scenerio.

Now, because I'm a Batfan, I'm in favor of anything from the "Batworld" and would actually route for Joker, heh heh.

joker is use to tussling with friggin batman. so he's already seasoned in fighting a guy much much more powerful than rorschach could ever hope to be.

joker wins because he's prepared to take down someone who is 'less than' the bat. he'd use poison to stun or paralyze, then savor the kill.

remember that in these fights, it is not simply just a fist fight: it is the competitors using any powers/abilities/skills they are known to have used in their lives.

Rorschach might be strong and merciless but Joker is just way too smart for him. THe only human smart enough for Joker is Batman.

The difference between Batman and Rorschach is that Batman is a pussy and after every single encounter he just continues to allow Joker to live on and on and on.
Joker's first encounter with Rorschach would be his last.

Love what Batman was, hate what he's become.
He use to be stoic, mysterious and silent with colossal presence and will. And winning for him was never assured and certainly never easy for him. It was this very vulnerability which made him great.

I'm hoping someday soon that Batman will come back once the fan boys grow up. I love that Batman.

I say Rorschach, he's a detective and can figure out the Joker's schemes just as good as Batman can... And then when it comes to down to the actual fight, Rorschach will take him and wouldn't hold back against him the way Batman would... Rorschach ftw!
