GODZILLA VS. KONG Leaked Footage Gives Us A First Glimpse Of The Iconic Beasts Doing Battle

It's very brief and not very clear, but Warner Bros.' introduction video at CCXP Brazil featured a first look at some footage from Godzilla vs. Kong. See the titans clash in a leaked video right here....

In addition to the Wonder Woman 1984 trailer, Warner Bros. screened a video today at Comic Coin Experience Brazil which featured brief snippets of footage from some of the studio's upcoming releases, and one of the movies spotlighted was Godzilla Vs. Kong.

It's brief (really only two shots), but we do get to see the giant ape - who is much bigger than he was last time we saw him on Skull Island - aiming a punch at his reptilian adversary.

It's a shame the quality is so poor, but until WB chooses to share an official look at the film, this is all we have to work with!

In a time when monsters walk the Earth, humanity’s fight for its future sets Godzilla and Kong on a collision course that will see the two most powerful forces of nature on the planet collide in a spectacular battle for the ages. As Monarch embarks on a perilous mission into uncharted terrain and unearths clues to the Titans’ origins, a human conspiracy threatens to wipe the creatures, both good and bad, from the face of the earth forever.

It was recently announced that Godzilla Vs. Kong has been pushed back eight months from March to November 20, 2020.

@Franshu - Oh? I didn't think they'd been included in that vid if they were already showing. But thanks I'll edit that.

@Grodd87 - King of Monsters did focus on the monster. Honestly that's all it did, introduce a setting and world for Godzilla and the kaijus fighting each other.

@mastakilla39 - Not much. It was almost the same thing as the 2014 flick only with not as boring human characters and stopping a fight before it begins mid-fist clash.

I wish it was a little clearer but Kong looks to be about Godzilla's height. I love to see a trailer.

@blitzkreg - You mean a forest? There isn't a tree big enough to cause him damage.

King of The Monsters was a god awful disappointment and am lucky to have seen it for free. It’s like the director forgot how to film action during tense moments. You have these beautiful wide shots with excellent visuals and those moments were amazing then it goes to this extreme close up where you have no idea what the heck is even happening on the screen. Even worse is that most of it was covered up by this dirty sewer fog and am like trying to peak around the screen looking for the action. Don’t get me started on the story cause boy oh boy. Why do all these damn American Godzilla movies have to be some stupid family drama like can’t you be more creative than that. This was the worst one I’ve seen it’s like they just made up these characters at the last minute. Just give us the monsters that’s all we need and for the love of Jesus make the action more clear don’t be afraid to show off those beautiful effects.

This would've really excited me for the film if its release was in March and not in 11 months.
