Michael B. Jordan Talks FANTASTIC FOUR And Confirms STAR WARS EPISODE VII Audition
Chronicle star Michael B. Jordan confirms a number of rumours surrounding him, saying he's "definitely interested" in playing 'The Human Torch' in The Fantastic Four and confirms that he has indeed auditioned for J.J. Abrams' Star Wars Episode VII...without a lightsaber!
"You win Sundance, you pop up on a lot of peoples' radar. So it's been incredible. It's a different conversation. Studios, producers, writers, directors — getting to know a lot of people in the industry," Michael B. Jordan said in an interview with The Huffington Post at People magazine's "Ones To Watch" party yesterday. The actor is also said to be a lock for Josh Trank's The Fantastic Four reboot as 'Johnny Storm'/'Human Torch', but when quizzed about the movie, he would only say: "Definitely interested in the project. Josh Trank is a buddy of mine."
The Chronicle star also said he's a "big fan" of Roland Emmerich's 1996 Independence Day, adding that if his rumoured involvement, "came true, that would be cool, too." Finally, Jordan confirmed that he has indeed auditioned for the J.J. Abrams helmed Star Wars Episode VII. However, unlike Saoirse Ronan, he didn't wield a lightsaber! "I mean, everybody's going in on this project. They're trying to figure out what they want. That's another incredible franchise. It's pretty crazy! ... We'll see how it happens. I don't know how I can do everything."
