VIDEO GAMES: First Look At STAR WARS 1313 Gameplay Footage

Touted as the first "mature" Star Wars video game, here is a first look at some incredible gameplay footage which introduces us to the lead protagonist who players will take to Level 1313; the ruthless criminal world deep below the surface of Coruscant.

Named for Level 1313, a ruthless criminal underground deep below the surface of the planet of Coruscant, the game puts players in control of a deadly bounty hunter as he uses an arsenal of exotic weaponry to hunt down his marks and uncover the truth surrounding a criminal conspiracy. Star Wars 1313 emphasizes epic set pieces and fast-paced combat with a hero who uses human skills and gadgets, rather than supernatural Force powers, to make his way through this dangerous world.






Lucasfilm are working on the game which, as you can see above, is a third person action adventure. Players will take control of an unnamed bounty hunter and explore the depths of the Coruscant underworld. There is currently no word on a release date or which platforms it will be available on. The more stealth they include, the better. I couldn't see the gameplay at work but i sure hope this is better than your average infiltration game. This should be Metal Gear Star Wars! AND PUT IT ON THE PS3!!!

Thank god I got a girlfriend because the next generation of gamers are gonna be virgins for the rest of there lives with the amount of insane games coming out.

Might need to get this game as well, so my list of games to get.

as its a PC demo the look will change when ported to 360/ps3 and i dont care what anyone says lol

but looking good, hoping for a 360 version to come

The graphics look immense...but no lightsaber...no buy for me!!!

Well, i kinda thought The Force Unleashed and The Force Unleashed II were pretty mature...

But this is really AWESOME!!

And yeah, it is kinda like Uncharted 4: Drake's Star Wars Adventure!! :-D

Still hope this is on PS3 and not next-gen, but i actually presume it's on PS3 aswell!! :-D

The graphics look incredible. Looks good. I wish Lucas Arts would do another Jedi Knight game. Jedi Outcast was my favorite Star Wars game.

I just saw Nindendo's media event where they featured the Wii U. "Batman: Arkham City Armored" looks like a pretty interesting twist to the game and is worth somebody doing a feature on it here at CBM.

It's EXACTLY like Uncharted, but set in the Star Wars universe. Still looks fun, but it doesn't even seem like a Star Wars game.
Also, I wish it wasn't M. Blood and gore do not a good game make.

Looks pretty great. Lightsabers are overrated honestly. It gets boring when doing the same hacking motion during a game. I'd rather be playing as a bounty hunter.

If Lucas made the prequels in this vein, for an adult audience instead of trying to milk the kids, he could have avoided making the greatest disappointments in cinematic history.

See, literally, THE MOMENT George Lucas retires, Star Wars is cool again. Now just give us a game exactly like that but as a Jedi instead of a bounty hunter AND hire Damon Lindelof and J.J. Abrams to reboot a new series of films and all will be right in the world.

Nice. Hoping this is adapted to multiple platforms like Wii and PS3. Like the idea of playing a darker Star Wars game that for once doesn't focus on Anakin or Kenobi. I think the "darkest" Star Wars game I've played is the Force Unleashed, the first one. Second one don't really count cause it was too damn short. In the future I'd like to see more games like this. Someone said there was supposed to be a Wookie based Star Wars game in the works before TFU got announced. Give me a Luke Skywalker based Star Wars game that takes place after the saga... I'd also like to see a Pod-Racer game and of course another Battlefront game. Still love those games.

Have you ever played Uncharted? Those games are epic the whole time! Since this is a copycat, they'll probably pull it off! (Don't get me wrong, it looks cool and fun, just not really unique)
