Spider-Man: No Way Home is such a hotly anticipated film, it's hardly surprising that so many leaks have sprung in recent months. One leaker on Reddit, u/MyTimeToShineHello, has shared a lot of inside information about the film, most of which has been proven accurate (a rarity for that website).
His latest bold claim was dropped on Halloween, and alleged that "Tom Holland's Peter will get the black symbiote suit in the MCU after No Way Home."
The Redditor told his many supporters on the site that they should remember this tease and check back after Spider-Man: No Way Home is released. That makes us think one of the post-credits scenes will expand on Eddie Brock's MCU arrival at the end of Venom: Let There Be Carnage, possibly depicting the first meeting between Peter Parker and the symbiote.
It makes sense for Spider-Man to don the alien suit next, though we're unsure what that will mean for Venom (we somehow can't picture Tom Holland squabbling with his costume the same way Tom Hardy does). With the lines between the MCU and Sony's Spider-Man Universe seemingly being blurred, we're hoping Marvel Studios and Kevin Feige will have some input into how this plays out.
It is just a rumor for now, but this latest claim about Spider-Man: No Way Home makes a lot of sense. Venom making a cameo appearance in the threequel isn't outside the realm of possibility, especially with past villains like Doctor Octopus and Sandman set to make their presence felt.
