THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN Suit Set To Return In THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2

When an official image of the new Spider-Man suit was unveiled, it was widely assumed that the sequel would pick up with Spidey in his new (and more comic book faithful) duds. Well, apparently not, as Andrew Garfield's stunt double has Tweeted a picture of himself in the original costume!

Andrew Garfield's stunt double William Spencer has Tweeted (@Iwilliamspencer) the following image of him on the set of The Amazing Spider-Man 2. As you can see, he's NOT wearing the new costume which was officially unveiled earlier this year. Before any of you understandably jump to the conclusion that this is simply an old photo from the first film, you'll see that he confirmed that it was taken on the set of the sequel in a separate Tweet. In The Amazing Spider-Man™ 2, for Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield), life is busy – between taking out the bad guys as Spider-Man and spending time with the person he loves, Gwen (Emma Stone), high school graduation can’t come quickly enough. Yeah, He probably gets beat up pretty bad early on then comes up with the new suit. They'll want to feature the new suit pretty heavily in order to push marketing on the new merchandise and toys and stuff.

I get the feeling that the "shock cells" are there for the more physical inmates, like Lizard and maybe Rhino...perhaps the cells are Electro's invention?

I like it. I always liked it when you see the superheros decide to change their costume on screen. It always irked me for some reason that they change their suit between movies.

It will be interesting to see how he goes about changing up his suit. And hopefully......HOPEFULLY we'll see some web cartridges stored on him and he'll run out of webbing this time around. Which he didn't in the first one.

So as many of us speculated, his first suit probably gets torn to shit, prompting him to make the new more classic looking suit.
