I'm guessing this is the first step of his transformtion. And for that, I think it looks good.

I think cause were seeing it from the front, it's not looking so great. I'd prefer it to look like how it did in the leaked early footage tests, long snout etc

and bearing in mind...THIS IS CONCEPT ART!

@TheRedSkull

Concept art in general, tends to looks BETTER than the final product. It's not giving me confidence in the final look. And bare in mind, I'm looking forward to The Amazing Spider-Man very much.

Yes, the pic Josh posted just proves that they are fathful to the comics. And also, from that SDCC low res image, this is not his FINAL look. It's called transformation.

Lizard humanoid? Well his final outcome better be bigger, have an actual snout, oh.... And a damn lab coat!!!

I'm always open to new takes on my fave heroes/villains, and I don't mind this at all! If he has a labcoat at some point - bonus! If not, then i'm fine with that too. I'm in the minority who love Spidey's new duds and Bane's new look too, I think sometimes you just have to be open to interpretations... And yeah, if this is the 'first stages' of the transformation as some have suggested, then the final stage should be something very special...

To the people who attended comic con this year, does this look anything like what was shown in the footage?

looks great but I bet any money it's first stage transformation.

I like it none the less anyways, I'm just saying, a picture and a video are two different things

Nice! Looks cool to me, plus the folks that saw the footage said his snout was much longer and he had the lab coat.

@RorMachine - he had the labcoat for 30 seconds...

That looks [frick]ing sick!xD

But yeah just needs the coat and reptile eyes!;)

Looks like the original take of Lizard is the inspiration!

I bet its going to look hundred times more menacing on the big screen!

Looks like how he did when in his first appearance. As long as were getting the snout and coat, this is pretty cool.

Ror@ Which means this is maybe just one of his states in the movie.
RadicalDuck
RadicalDuck - 11/30/2011, 4:06 AM
Lol at all the people hating it already when it blatantly is a transitionary stage. We can see that even through the really rubbish quality of the Comic Con pictures of the footage that his snout is far longer, and he is far more scaly.
Xandera
Xandera - 11/30/2011, 4:07 AM
I'm guessing this is a mid stage in his transformation... but even if it's the finished product, I won't be unhappy with it.
HavocPrime
HavocPrime - 11/30/2011, 4:09 AM
It's a faithful adaptation of Ditko's first drawing of him, going to wait until actual footage of him is released before judging
SUPERSP00NS
SUPERSP00NS - 11/30/2011, 4:10 AM
Just read the comic con descriptions again and nearly all of the reports described Lizard's physique as 'very similar to the Hulk' ... well this isn't similar to the Hulk in any sense, so I have also come to the conclusion that this is mid-transformation.

However, like Xandera said, if this IS the finished product, i'm completely fine with it.

i was more hoping for this

but as a mid transformation this works okay
