We didn't actually cover Tahmoh Penikett's rumored involvement with
Man Of Steel at the time because there wasn't quite enough solid evidence for it, but now Penikett himself - who has recently joined Twitter, and has been very active and open with fans since - seems to have confirmed it via the
social networking site. The actor remains tight lipped on who he is playing, but our friends over at the
MOS Facebook page have noticed that IMDB now lists him as a character called 'Henry Ackerdson' - which is very similar to Henry Ackerson, the alias used by Metallo in the DC animated flick,
Justice League Doom. Of course, coming from IMDB we have no idea if it's on the level or not - and even if the name is accurate, it might very well have nothing to do with Metallo - but given the secrecy surrounding Penikett's role, it could be a possibility. What do you think? Could we see Metallo pop up to make Superman's life even more difficult in
Man Of Steel?
