Deathstroke Coming to Smallville

The ruthless DC mercenary is coming to Smallville. And BSG fans will be happy with who is playing him!

Slade Wilson will be introduced in the ninth episode of Smallville this season, called "Patriot." We'll only know him by the name Slade when we meet him, but DC fans of course are aware that this is the man destined to become Deathstroke, an incredibly skilled and dangerous mercenary.

Michael Hogan(Saul Tigh from BSG) will be playing Wilson. He has experience playing a very gruff character, with an eye patch! Should be very interesting.

Apparently Hogan is currently slated to appear in two episodes, including the eleventh episode of Season 10, which is called "Icarus." After that, we'll see if he'll show up again before the show comes to a close at the end of the season.

In the meantime, you can catch the return of Hawkman (Michael Shanks), on tonight's new episode, "Shield", airing at 8:00 on The CW.

oh my god,i thought it was bad putting darkseid into smallville.

should of saved darkseid for a superman or justice league movie.

now deathstroke,well f*ck me another character wasted on a shit show.

doomsday,darkseid & now deathstroke all watered down crap of the original comic characters.

I like the idea.. but that actor does not look like he can pull off the physicality of Deathstroke.

@ comiccritic, and Deadpool:
I know anything they do right from here on out is (most likely) fan service but I kind of like it.
As long as he's the superman I know by the end of this last season i'll be happy. I get why pple wouldn't like it. But hey, its pretty cool to see a version of the characters i love come to life.

I thought how twisted they made lex was PERFECT last week.

deadpool- dude shows have less money than cinema films so even if the characters costume or characters are acted bad you should accept it cause a least they giving you characters fans wanted to see in a while don't matter if is low budget. just enjoy what you have know and you never know you can then see them in the big screen if wb thinks it works well in smallville why not try a big screen adaption of the character. and dude you know how long you will have to wait to see all those characters smallville have showed us to be adapted into a big screen?

they should mention dick grayson or robin or nightwing in that episode is ome form, after all deathstroke is one of the titans worst enemies and dick was the leader of the titans. I WANT A CALL BACK TO BATMAN IN THIS SEASON! lol

They play off of that allot through the issue. Deathstroke is payed to kill Bruce Wayne and deadpool (i dont remember if that's what they actually call him) is brought in from a parallel universe to protect him. Its HILARIOUS!

God, at this point, they may as well have Lobo appear on Smallville too. Michael Hogan is a lousy choice for Slade. They need someone more beefy for that role...and with hair.

so deadshot huh? i dont like how they made him a straight up redneck cowboy status that was pretty weak but deadshot is still cool. and now they are going to introduce deathstroke? well hopefully they dont. i got so freaking excited when they showed darksied i was like hell yeah. chloe needs to die i cant stand her at all
