The first trailer for the 10th and final season of "Smallville" has just been released. While there is some footage from season 9 mixed in, it still provides a good tease of things to come.

Don't hurt you eyes looking for a glimpse of Darkseid, he isn't in it. It does, however, give us a very brief shot of a red and blue flying blur at the end.

Hawksblueyes: I can't help myself. I still look forward to watching this show every week. There, I'm out of the "Smallville" closet.

I cant wait for this season. The show started out shitty and become ok. ITs an ok show but they are trying to turn it around with adding the JSA and Green Arrow. Going for a prototype JLA. Give the show credit. This season should be good.

There is a bunch of scenes from previous years leading up to the glimpse of him flying at the end. I think that's the point.

On another note, think I've figured out why SOOOOOOOO many people are always dissing these Smallville posts. They know they're the minority in this area, and they're sick and tired of it and apparently have nothing better to do with their lives than consistently comment on posts that they can't stand. I think that tells us all we need to know about them! :) Have a nice day!

Cool but most of the footage was from season 9. Anyway I can't wait for season 10. It's gonna be awesome. Definitely one of my favorite shows.

I like it. I'm not a religious watcher, but I sneak a peak every once in a while. I did make a point of watching the JSA arc, and I was impressed. Well, except for the geriatric looking Hawkman, the immediate deaths of most of the JSAers, and Star Spangled Kid being played by a reject from a very small town highschool cheerleading squad.


Other than that it was pretty good.

Really, I could care less about Superman. I like the other characters.

What do you think DC has in store after Smallville goes away?

Alright, so I have a question for all you Smallville haters: you all ALWAYS comment on how bad the show is and how horrible it is, but then why is it on it's 10th season? Smallville has survived 9 seasons and its going on to 10. A show doesnt accomplish that type of feat out of pure dumb luck. Face it, Smallville haters. The show is better than you like to admit. Thats why you people always check the Smallville posts. But if you seriously don't like the show, then prove it by STOP CHECKING THE [frick]ING POSTS! People have constantly said Heroes was SO much better. And I'm sorry, but who is canceled and who isn't?

Sure the ratings may be declining a wee bit, but Smallville has a huge fan base. The decline in ratings doesn't really affect it at all.

I liked the show, then loved it, then [frick]ing LOVED it, then was slightly disappointed but forgiving, then i was forgiving, then pissed, then ashamed, back to liked...

after 9 seasons i'm just effing commited. if i leave the bus stop now and walk away the bus is gonna show up. I don't wanna miss the cool sh!t !!!, I DESERVE THE COOL SHEYET!

...not to mention over the last 5 years, there is more and more access to watch the show online or download episodes almost immediately, so people don't watch the actual network show as much as they used to. It made it 10 seasons. Most shows don't last half that length. Let the haters hate.

so i watched seasons 1-4 and got burned out. but now I want to watch the later seasons and pick up season ten....but i dont want to start at season 5.....where is a good place to pick up where all the other heros start coming in and i dont have to deal with too much lame drama?

@savedrockstar - Try starting at season 6. During the season it introduces Green Arrow and Martian Manhunter but it also brings back other heroes like in the episode "Justice." (It's a favorite to many Smallville fans including myself). Anyway, in the episode you see Clark, Green Arrow, Aquaman, The Flash, and Cyborg all team up. It's awesome. It's the 11th episode of season 6 by the way. Hope this helped.

Can't Wait for season 10! I've been a Fan since the Pilot aired. And I'm sure a good percent of the Smallville "Haters" watch the show. lol
I Just Hope they bring Michael R. back as Lex in the finale season. He is (imo) the BEST LEX off all Time!
I would also like to see Welling take to the Silver screen as Superman in the reboot. Go ahead and hate on that too. . . .

TEA @ Is right, the quality in writing has gone way down hill from the begining of season 8!!!

If they had them writers back then at the start, we'd have no season 2, only reason is the FANBASE!

I love it now only for the DC UNIVERSE appearances, not WELLING or [frick]ing CLHOE! : P
