TV Guide: "Q: I've watched the Smallville trailer a hundred times. What should we make of Chloe putting on Dr. Fate's helmet?
ADAM: Not that much. While we're pretty sure she's not going to be the next Dr. Fate, that scene is quite significant. Chloe uses the helmet to find Oliver, and while she's wearing it, she sees several other intriguing things - not the least of which is Clark not wearing black."

Reports www.supermanhomepage.com: "Lindsay Hartley, wife of Justin Hartley (who plays Green Arrow), has been cast in a role for an up-coming episode of Season 10 of "Smallville". Executive Producer Kelly Souders revealed to media touring the set of "Smallville" today that Linsday's character "is a woman who takes matters into her own hands. And those hands are wickedly dangerous". Lindsay Hartley will appear in the 8th episode of Season 10 titled "Abandoned", but will have no scenes with her husband. She will however interact with Clark Kent."

Thefancast.com:
The 'Smallville' premiere is almost here. I know you've got some Clois scoop you've been saving for this week, right?
Now that I have seen the season opener, I sure do. You know how there's been so much talk from the exec producers about how fun things will be now that Lois knows, but Clark doesn't know she knows? "Fun" doesn't begin to describe it. I was seriously LOL. Just wait for the scene where Lois goes fumbling for a pen.

What's next for 'Smallville's Chloe?

She is desperate to locate Oliver, who last was seen being attacked by a swarm of somethings that weren't Kandorians - and you know what they say about "desperate times." P.S. I saw one "Lazarus" review that said Chloe and Ollie share no scenes together. This is not true - and yes, I am a stickler for semantics.

I would like a 'Smallville' scoop about Clark's progression toward being Superman.

This Friday, you will get a good look at the supersuit, Clark will get a good look at the suit... and so will someone else. Really, the "S" is so much better in Technicolor.

OMG, I am so excited about the final season of 'Smallville.' Must have some scoop!

Toward the very end of the premiere, there is a moment that made me literally exclaim "Wow!" at my TV set. I wasn't quite sure they would "go there," but god bless 'em, they did.

Eonline.com: "Smallville's final season premiere starts just a few seconds after last season's finale, and Clark's 10th season adventures continue on from that point. It's going to be a struggle for the someday superhero, but with help from his dad Jonathan Kent (oh yes, he's back in full force), Clark will eventually make peace with things and be the good guy we all know and love. And Lois is going to start keeping some secrets of her own - starting with not telling Clark she knows who he really is. Hey, someone's gotta look after his well-being, right?"

Didn't they confirm that it was parademons that took Oliver at SDCC?
Or did they just confirm Clark would be going up against Apokalyptians?

I wonder where Allison Mack thinks her career is going after what she's best known for is a character so annoying she gets forced into comic book continuity, spoiled by the writers before being killed off just because they know no one likes her, and just be overall despised by all.
Hopefully this season pleases and has atleast half a season of Superman, the titular character.

@Creature

I think Ms. Mack is unlikely to be worried about a small group of rabid Fans who hate her. Like so many people that hate something you love to give the impression that your personal feelings are somehow universal. They are plainly not.

Superman is NOT the titular character. Why do so many people have such a problem understanding what Smallville is about?

Smallville is NOT about Superman. He will put on the suit at the very end and just as the Producers ORIGINALLY SAID it will be the end of the show. I have never been a big Fan of the show but at least I understand what it is freaking about.

@LEEE

Relax my friend. After all this time you know how Smallville works. We know they do not have the money to do a big CGI fight so they will have to make adjustments. So many that for me it is easy to separate Smallville from the source material. Put that way what we see on Smallville is additional stuff that never existed before.

Question from me: Would you like to see a dozen more wild variations on comic book characters?

Answer from me: Why yes I would.

Consider this. In the not so distant future the technology to take the comics and transform them into real looking live video will arrive. I am not talking about scanning them to read as we do now. I am not talking about just adding animation to the artwork.

I mean turning them into what look like normal live action movies. A day will come when all the comics become 100% faithful translations unto film. Someday but not that far away.

Funny thing. When this happens you know there are going to be hordes of people who will demand... wait for it...

Changes!

Until then they will adapt. They are getting better at it which is a plus. Comics have gained some respect in the Industry which is a very good thing. Even if I loathed Smallville I would respect it. It proved that a comic-book inspired show can be a long-running hit. It found just the right balance of soap opera and action to gain a solid audience. For TV this is a big deal.

Smallville has done the Comic Fan Community a great service. Too bad those that hate it rarely acknowledge this gift.

Yes, I agree, Smallville's Doomsday costume wasn't that good.

The battle between Clark & Doomsday sucked too. Ths Doomsday costume as DragonCon was, sadly, much better.

I'm hoping they don't screw up Darkseid. It's the final season; I think they're gonna go all out and give us something we'll be happy with.

Go Smallville!

The DoomsDay/Clark Kent fight was a good teaser fight which is exactly what it was supposed to be.

that smallville clip just reminded me why I don't watch that show. I think a dumpster fire has more plot and better FX than smallville (or anything elsethat fox or the W.B. broadcasts)
but seriously, people actually watch that show and enjoy it?
