Is This Our First Look At 'Doctor Light' In THE FLASH Season 2?

Here we have a couple of images from the set of the currently shooting second season of the CW's The Flash. One shows Jay Garrick and Caitlyn Snow getting very cozy in a car, and the other might just be our first glimpse of the female version of Doctor Light...

The Canadagraphs Twitter account has posted the following images from the set of The Flash. As you can see one features new speedster Jay Garrick (Teddy Sears) and Caitlyn Snow (Danielle Panabaker) sharing an intimate moment (what would poor Ronnie say!), and the other would appear to be our first glimpse of this TV incarnation of Doctor Light.

We were told to expect the female version of this character to make an appearance in season 2, but we've had no casting announcement yet - and unfortunately the angle of the pics don't help us out in that regard. Still, that costume is far too reminiscent of Kimiyo Hoshi's comic book attire to be anyone else... right?




The Flash returns for its second season on October 6.

Okay so Atom Smasher has a costume (albeit a shitty one) and now Dr Light has a costume, I hope this means that more of the freaks of the week will have costumes from here on out. I love season 1, but we only got like 4 villain costumes.

This Dr Light is not a villain. She's a hero that used to work for STAR Labs, and was a member of the JL at one time. She is also listed as one of the smartest people in the world.

I've never been a fan of Doctor Light, but if she is from Earth 2, I hope more superheroes from there will come to Earth 1. Getting to see Doctor Mid-Nite, Blue Devil & Starman would be really cool, so I hope they join the show too.

Anyone who hates Jane Foster as Thor, Sam Wilson as Cap or Miles Morales as Spider-Man should hate Hal Jordan or Barry Allen. They both took the mantles of Green Lantern and Flash from Alan Scott or Jay Garrick. The only reason they don't care is because both Hal and Barry are white and male. If they were a minority or female or god forbid both they would hate them. There is issue with all this.
