GENERAL EILING TARGETS FIRESTORM — After the nuclear explosion separates Ronnie (guest star Robbie Amell) and Dr. Stein (guest star Victor Garber), Barry (Grant Gustin) and the team believe both men are safe. Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) is thrilled to have her fiancé back and prepares to resume their life together while Dr. Stein returns to his wife. However, when General Eiling (guest star Clancy Brown) targets Firestorm, Ronnie and Dr. Stein must decide if they are safer together or apart. Meanwhile, Mason Bridge (guest star Roger Hayworth) tells Iris (Candice Patton) that there is something secretive going on at S.T.A.R. Labs and Dr. Stein gives Barry some important information about time travel. Steve Surjik directed the episode written by Keto Shimizu & Ben Sokolowski.

So, Firestorm will indeed be split into two! The show is obviously going to delve into what happens when they combine though, and this unexpected element of The Flash may just end up being as interesting as the mystery surrounding the Reverse-Flash! Speaking of which, there's still no sign of that villain, but we will at least learn more about time travel in this episode. What do you guys think?

Its a plot! DC/WB is trying to flood the market with Superhero genre so the general audience will soon tire of all the superheroes. Then Marvel studios will crumble.. unlike WB and other studios who have different movie genre's they produce, Marvel is a one trick pony. Once the audience tires of the superhero craze... they (marvel)will be done. What better way to get people to stop going to Marvel movies? create other superhero movies and it won't matter if they are good or not, the general public will soon tire of them. When they do... Marvel studios will be in trouble.. no matter how you look at it, they're a one trick pony. Take away superhero movies and what do they produce? Crappy TV shows, animation, and comics where they are killing themselves (X-men, Fantastic 4, spidey) all for the movies because its "popular" for now.. too many eggs in one basket.. Marvel needs to EXPAND not stay a one trick pony.. once that one trick pony is done.. then its all over.

LOL! That is on the same level or line of the theory that the United States faked the moon landing in a attempt to bankrupt Russia!

Chrome keep talking to yourself, cause Marvel isn't listening. They are far from a one trick pony, the box office numbers and the legions of fans will back that up.

And from what you're saying it sounds like you want WB to stop making DC movies as well in your predicted death to the superhero genre... what kind of self-hating DC fanboy are you ?

Firestorm is neat as a character and it's going to be fun to see them bring him to the screen, especially with involving Dr Stein and Robbie.

@knightinarkham1 I'm not defending specialkali's comment, it was clearly homophobic but unfortunately the facts speak for themselves. http://www.cdc.gov/hiv/risk/gender/msm/

I don't do the whole DC/Marvel war thing, because I am a comic book fan, be it DC, Marvel or Asterix. I don't know much about Firestorm so I'm looking forward to how they explain the character on the show. I generally like how they portray the villains on Flash & Arrow.

@specialkail - your comments was tacky and uncalled for, and the whole Ezra Flash debate is so 2014. I happen to like dudes, but I don't have HIV (or Ebola, and I live in Africa... I dod get a cold last winter though...). I did get cancer though, so if there is any connection please let me know. Because, you know, you seem so informed...
