POLL: How Do You Feel About Ezra Miller Playing The Big Screen Version Of THE FLASH
When Warner Bros. announced their DC Comics movie slate from 2016 - 2020, perhaps the biggest surprise was the reveal that Ezra Miller (The Perks of Being a Wallflower) had been cast as The Flash in the DC Cinematic Universe. How do you feel about the casting? Let us know here...
The response to Ezra Miller being cast as The Flash has been vocal to say the least. Some fans believe he's completely wrong for the role due to the fact he shares very few similarities with the Barry Allen from the comic books, while others would have preferred to see the small scren Flash (Grant Gustin) get the chance to speed onto the big screen. The casting appeared to come out of nowhere, though Miller's physical similarities to Adam Driver (who was said to be up for the role of Nightwing in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice before picking Star Wars Episode VII) could mean that the actor playing The Fastest Man Alive was being decided on long before we even realised!
Anyone who has seen The Perks of Being a Wallflower or We Need to Talk About Kevin will know that Miller is an incredible actor, and there's no denying that he has the potential to do great things with a character like The Flash. As we said above though, the response to him joining the DC Cinematic Universe in Batman v Superman, Justice League and The Flash has still seen some fans come up with plenty of reasons as to why he's wrong for the role (unfortunately, one of those is in regards to his sexuality, something which has really shown off the ugly side of the mindsets of some fanboys). Anyway, we're now giving you another chance to sound off with your thoughts on Ezra Miller as the Scarlet Speedster with the use of this poll and the comments section below.
