THE FLASH Confronted By 'Captain Cold' And 'Heatwave' In New Set Photos

It's a Prison Break reunion! Following some blurry set photos, more images of Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller) and Heatwave (Dominic Purcell) have found their way online. These are great quality and show off the two members of The Rogues - parka and all - in their full glory....

A little earlier this evening, we got our first look at Captain Cold and Heatwave fighting side-by-side on the set of The Flash. However, some hi-res versions have now found their way online and can be viewed below. As you can see, the villains are facing off against the Scarlet Speedster. The images come courtesy of photographer Nigel Horsley, and the full gallery can be found on Flickr

Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell played brothers in Prison Break and shared a great deal of chemistry, so seeing them together on the small screen should be a real buzz for fans of that series. In fact, it appears as if Heatwave is wearing a prison jacket, so it could be that Captain Cold has actually broken him out, something which is sure to ring a bell for both actors. What do you think?

The images are copyrighted, so we can't actually post them here on CBM for the risk of being sued. They're awesome though, so be sure to click on the image below to view the full gallery!

I still don't understand why they're not doing a shared universe with the movies.

@DudeGuyManBro Or sometimes people have poop in their corn. You never know what restaurant cookers do behind the scenes. They might be having a bad day and decide to poop on a person's meal. The customer might not even notice, which makes it even more disturbing. #watchwhatyoueat

It's so weird that most of this site hates Agents of SHIELD while still complaining that the Flash isn't in continuity with the movies.

Y'all do get that a lot of the things the fanboys hate about SHIELD have precisely to do with the movies, right? Lack of actual comic characters because most of the cool character are reserved for the movies especially. Do you want a Flash show where he fights generic bad guys made up for the show because all the cool baddies are being saved for film?

Hopefully the "Arrow" isn't involved in any of the episodes, let alone the rest of the series. What makes crossovers special is when they never knew each other and then they end up meeting each other by chance. The Arrow/Flash connection isn't a "crossover", its the "Arrow" hogging up the spotlight. I wish Arrow was never made and this was just a Flash series. These are two iconic Flash villians, I don' want Queen involved and I surely don't want them in Starling City. They didn't need to introduce Barry in a C+ show. The pilot worked without needed to see ArroCW. So what was the point? I would have been fine if they crossed over in Flash SEASON 7, but now we have storylines intervening with each other and that sucks because ArroCW is <<<<<<<<<< The Flash.disconnect these shows and save the "crossover" for SEASON 7. I don't want the "Arrow" involved nor any of their character(Felecity) and I don't want Barry visiting Starling City nor his villains or his villains (Captain Boomerang) debuting there. There I said it, I hate The Flash show because of its involvement with the crappy overrated Arrow show. Leave the two shows separate please!!!!! The ratings prove it. The Flash is an A+ superhero while the "Arrow" is a D+ superhero. Barry didn't need him and doesn't need him so let his show be the focus on him and him only. No one cares about the "Arrow". people want to see The Flash. Stop embarrassing Flash by involving him with ArroCW!!! That's like The Dark Knight being in the same universe as Catwoman and Halle Barry is in The Dark Knight Rises. #FreeFlash

It's cool that both of them are in a episode together, but they both suck when it comes to looks. It sucks that Flash is in a suit and no one else is.

Bring on that Reverse-Flash episode.

@rorywilliams For me it has nothing to do with big name Comic characters it has to do with the fact that for a spy show it sucks. The Mission Impossible TV show was miles better than AOS and it was made in the 60's, heck The Unit was way better too and half of that show involved their families. Let's not forget the eye rolling episodes like the Sif one that had an actual actor from the movies and was absolutely horrible.

If somebody wants some news, Jason Momoa just posted a pic with the Aquaman with one hand. Maybe what they're using for inspiration?

@nighteagle

What most people don't understand is that NO ONE CARES. The X-Men franchise was and still is full of continuity issues. No one but the minority of upset fanboys cares. We just want good content to enjoy. That is literally it. Days of Future Past did its best to fix them, but it really doesn't make any sense if you think about it. Doesn't mean that movie isn't damn great. We can forgive a continuity issue here and there. Write it so that Deadshot is brother to Tom Hardy's deadshot. Boom, plot hole solved. Is it stupid? Yes. Do we care? Hell no. I want to see these characters together because I'm attached to every single one of them. I love Henry Cavill's Superman, I love Stephen Amell's Arrow, and I love Grant Gustin's Flash. I don't want to see Ezra Miller pointlessly in a role that is being perfectly by a talented actor as we speak. It's downright insulting and disrespectful to the work Gustin is putting in.

The shared universe could've happened easily. All it would take is Greg Berlanti, Marc Guggenheim, Geoff Johns, Zack Snyder, and Chris Terio in one room together. Maybe a few other guys, but all it would take is genuine intelligent and cooperative writing between all of these men. It isn't that hard.

When would Captain Cold and Heatwave even appear in the movies? They're Flash centric. It takes some suspension of disbelief BUT COMICS ARE ALL ABOUT DISBELIEF.

Bottomline: DC is founded on missed opportunities. They continue digging themselves into a hole. It's a shame because in my opinion, they have the better heroes and stories. But Marvel Studios will ALWAYS be on top because DC is too stupid to realize gold when it's right in their hands.

Great. Can't wait for it. Also I scrolled a bit beyond The Flash's set photos and was confused as I saw the dude from Fifty shades of Grey and thought he was going to be in Flash, but then it hit me that I must be seeing set photos of that film.

I am glad the movies and tv shows are not shared. The shiwrunners are not held bely chains to do the stories the want with certain characters. If they were connected we wouldnt be getting the great stories on Arrow with all the LOA and Ra's Al ghul because they would have to wait for Batman movies to use them. Its fornthe better of the shows and flash show would have suffered from being connected. If Flash movie is not my cup of tea, i always have the tv show to watch. By the time flash movie comes out the show will be in its 3rd or 4th season hopefully.

Watch everyone switch their tune when they see Ezra as flash because knowing zack snyder and the costumes for his movies are straight from the comics so flash will probably be bright red with yellow boots. plus this flash will be strong enough to be in the justice league so he will probably be able to run around the earth in 5 seconds.

Watched the pilot today. Not a fan. Writing is pretty bad at times and the acting veered towards cringe worthy on multiple occasions. I infinitely prefer Arrow (which to be fair has plenty of eye roll momentsof its own but the overall story compensates for it most of the time). In short flash feels even more a product of its network than arrow ever has.
