In "Rumor Mill," we share the hard to buy rumours that don't come from reliable sources like the trades, but are still more believable (just) than what you might find on Reddit.
Recently, Batman & Robin star George Clooney debunked rumors that he'll be donning his cape and cowl alongside Michael Keaton and Ben Affleck in 2022's The Flash. That didn't exactly shock us, but The Vulcan Reporter has now shared a pretty bold claim about another possible cameo.
The site, who have shared a small handful of accurate reports in the past, claims that Lynder Carter (Supergirl) is in talks to reprise her iconic role as Wonder Woman in the Scarlet Speedster's film.
The actress played Diana Prince in the 1970s live-action television series which was set during World War II initially before moving to the present day. Catching up with an experienced Wonder Woman in the future could be fun, especially if Michael Keaton's Batman is part of a Kingdom Come-type Universe. Her inclusion in a story about the Multiverse would also makes sense.
Birds of Prey scribe Christina Hodson is writing The Flash, while IT's Andy Muschietti is the latest filmmaker to agree to sit in the director's chair. Starring Ezra Miller, the film is currently scheduled to race to the big screen on November 4, 2022.
