At SDCC, Stephen Amell talks about Arrow season 3, answering unanswered questions from previous seasons and filming the scene that involves the return of Tommy Merlyn actor, Colin Donnel. Interesting enough, Amell also touched on the number of women Oliver Queen will be dating this season. In the past, Oliver has gotten a bit of a bad wrap about being such a womanizer, it seemed that anytime a beautiful woman, outside of the Queen family appeared on the show, it was safe to automatically assume that she was going to sleep with Oliver. It seems that Arrow season 3 will mark a decided shift in that area of Oliver's life, in fact, Amell says that Oliver will only date one woman this season. Seeing that the first episode of Arrow season 3 begins with Oliver and Felicty Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards) going on a date, should we assume that the one woman in Oliver's life this season is his former assistant? Yes. Said Amell, "
Oliver has one woman this year. That woman is Felicity. There's some of the stuff we do in premiere, regardless of if that means Felicity and I are going to be together, if I meant what I said in the [season 2] finale - we talk about some pretty important stuff in the [season 3] premiere, [if] we're going to have a fling it would undermine some of that. So, I think the count [of Oliver's] women, is going to slow down for the first time."
Arrow season 3 premieres October 8, 2014 on The CW.
