Things are certainly heating up in Gotham. In episode 19, Hugo Strange's scientific experiments are discovered and Azrael makes his debut. In episode 20, Bruce & Selina hunt down Hugo Strange while Penguin seeks revenge. Check out the promotional stills from episode 19: "Azrael" and episode 20: "Unleashed" below::

A STRANGE DISCOVERY WILL BE MADE IN GOTHAM CITY ON AN ALL-NEW “GOTHAM” MONDAY, APRIL 25, ON FOX

Gordon and Bruce question Professor Strange about Project Chimera, which leads Strange to send the newly resurrected Galavan to confront Gordon. Meanwhile, Nygma investigates who Professor Strange is in the all-new “Wrath of the Villains: Azrael” episode of GOTHAM airing Monday, April 25 (8:00-9:01 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

Michelle Veintimilla Reprises her Role as Firefly/Bridgit

Azrael is on the loose in Gotham City, which sparks Penguin’s need for revenge. Meanwhile, Bruce enlists the help of Selina Kyle to help track down Professor Strange, as he evades arrest for his experiments in the all-new “Wrath of the Villains: Unleashed” episode of GOTHAM airing Monday, May 9 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

The stakes are higher than ever as Gotham explores the origin stories of some of the most ambitious and depraved Super Villains, including The Riddler, The Joker and Mr. Freeze, and Bruce Wayne uncovers more secrets from his father’s past.

Last few episodes of Gotham really kicked ass. Huge improvement comparing to season 1.

I'm really loving this season of Gotham, it still has it's issues but overall it's been really fun, especially The Riddler's arc.

Loving gotham this season. Loving robin Taylor as penguin, i find he makes the penguin charismatic where hes savagely murdering someone for just a sandwich yet i still find him likeable.

I always saw Galavan as having some resemblance to the dude who was Bison on the Van Dam Street Fighter movie.

Sounds like this is improving a lot in an interesting, Elseworlds kind of way. Hope Season 2 ends up on Netflix so I can catch up, watched Season 1 and while a lot of it left a lot to be desired, there were moments of very brief brilliance so there's definitely always been potential to this show.

Probably. My prediction is that it's either Galavan or Clayface (who is also confirmed to appear sometime this season). It might also be Mad Matter, since there is a flash of Hugo Strange reading ALICE IN WONDERLAND in the Patient 44 Birth trailer.
