SUPERMAN & LOIS Pilot Script Leak Reveals Which DC Comics Characters Appear In The CW Series

Thanks to Primetimer, information from the Superman & Lois pilot script has found its way online which seemingly sheds some light on what we can expect from The CW's next DC Comics series.

For starters, the characters who were code-named "Matthew" and "Ethan" are, in fact, the children of Clark Kent and Lois Lane. However, where as one of them is indeed Jonathan Kent (previously described as an "all-star athlete type"), the other isn't Damian Wayne as some fans theorised.

Instead, he's the newly created Jordan Kent. Neither of the boys know that their father is Superman and they may or may not have powers. Common sense says they will, though, and as well as following the Man of Steel's journey, we'll no doubt follow their respective transformations into superheroes...unless one of them decides to go down a slightly darker path, of course!

Lois will be working at The Daily Planet when Superman & Lois begins but Clark has been laid off. Lana Lang will also factor into the proceedings as a banker in Smallville who has two daughters with her husband Kyle Cushing. Unfortunately, it doesn't sound like their relationship is a good one.

Martha Kent is still alive (her husband Jonathan is not) and General Sam Lane will make an appearance. He knows Clark's secret so will presumably be an ally to his son-in-law. Finally, the pilot reportedly introduces an enemy called "The Stranger" whose true identity will be revealed be the end of the episode.

Sounds pretty good, right?

So not only is Superman in limbo theatrically, he's unemployed too. Damn.

Cool enough, really like these versions of Supes and Lois so looking forward to the show.

There are some things Tyler's Superman does well, getting repeatedly beaten up by Supergirl is defo one of them, very few take a good walloping like his Man of Steel, also standing in the shadow of Brandon Rouths Superman is another thing he does well. They're focusing on the wrong Superman.

Not sure why this show is even needed with Supergirl still on the air and using Superman ideas and characteristics.

Well one of them's going bad then.

I think "The Stranger" will be something like that.

@Repian
Yep, only this time, it could be Pà Kent instead of Jor-El.

P.S. [frick] Bendis for killing Mr.Oz tho, talk about wasting shit loads of dope storylines....smdh.

@Doomsday8888 - Mark Harmon may be a good Jor-El, but he can also be Pà Kent

Sounds like almost a Dragonball Z-ing of the traditional Superman status quo (which may not be the worst thing, especially with Supergirl still in the mix to do the "single female Superman" shtick).

...But I really just wish they'd gone with Routh from the beginning...

@Spock0Clock - well dragon ball z blatantly took things into the superman territory in comparison to the original dragon ball, so what you're noticing might just be a coincidence.

If Routh were to grace us again with his Superman that would be AWESOME, but then again...this is The CW we are talking about, and we don't have guys like Bryan Q. Miller, so maybe having SuperRouth in small doses is not such a bad idea, otherwise i'm afraid they are bound to ruin him.

Whatever he did ir said in COIE was perfect imho.

@Doomsday8888 - Routh is leaving the cw.

CW is pretty much Super Hero soap operas.
Twenty23Three

@Millz333 - in all fairness. All Superhero shows are pretty much superhero soap operas, I’ve never seen one that isn’t. Mainly because all long for story telling uses soap opera elements. Including funnily enough the comics these shows are based on. I just never get that ‘CW are just soap operas with powers’ point

I hope they introduce Steel in this show at some point.

@WruceBayne - That would be dope. Start off as John Irons, and develops his tech over the course of season 1-2, becoming Steel in season 2-3? I would totally dig that.

@MrFloZeke - I would think that he had been Steel for a while considering the “maturity “ and mid-life tone his series is presenting. Maybe I am off a bit?

I think they are doing both Jon Kent story lines from recent comics. One of the boys will be doing the super sons era Jon Kent story with Lois and Clark, the other will going to future with "stranger" and maybe join the legion of superheroes.
It would be interesting if their powers wouldn't develop all simultaneously. Maybe Jon will start get super strength and speed, while Jordan gets flight and heat vision at first.

One kid will have powers, the other will not. Jealousy eventually forms and causes a new Supes/Lex-type relationship within the family.

the other isn't Damian Wayne as some fans theorised.

No fan would theorize that.
