SUPERMAN & LOIS: The Stranger Strikes In The New Promo For Season 1, Episode 7; "Man of Steel"

Superman & Lois is finally back, and following another outstanding episode, next week's David Ramsey-directed hour looks to be even bigger as the Man of Steel finds himself being hunted by The Stranger!

Next week, after a little over a year on the sideline, John Diggle (David Ramsey) returns.

While the promo doesn't reveal exactly how he'll factor into what's happening on Superman & Lois, it will kickstart what's expected to be at least a four-episode arc that will bring us up to speed with what Diggle has been up to since we saw him last.

While we'll likely have to wait and see what happens with that big Green Lantern tease from the Arrow series finale, it should bring some much-needed hype to the entire Arrowverse as we head into the summer months.

As for the main story, the Ramsey-directed hour will see Clark (Tyler Hoechlin) struggle with helping Jordan (Alex Garfin) control his latest superpower while also having plenty to deal with in his day job as Superman, which just got a whole lot more complicated with the Stranger (Wolé Parks) out for his head.

Check out the new promo for season one, episode seven, titled "Man of Steel," below:

This show has been such a huge surprise to me.never thought I’d be into this because of what the wb has crapped out to the masses but this is a great show so far hope it stays that way and doesn’t turn into typical arrow verse garbage.no offense to anyone who likes their other shows it’s just too watered down and repetitive for me

As a lifelong Superman fan, I love this show so much. Tyler's easily my favourite Supes after Christopher Reeve.
It's mind-boggling that DC can't for the life of them figure out movies for this amazing character without resorting to cheap-ass gimmicks.

My only gripe with the show is the obvious Shazam shoulder pads they make Hoechlin wear. Some padding is fine, but jeez.

The CW sucks. Flash is forgettable and the rest of them network is unwatchable.

Anyone who thinks Superman is a "boring" character should give this show a viewing. I hope it revitalizes the post-Crisis universe of the Arrowverse. Television is a copycat medium, so there's hope.
